MYO restobar - 138 Robinson Road Oxley Tower Lobby 1

Came here for dinner. The food was above average but the service can be improved. There was a tall lady with short hair who was curt and grumpy. Didn't get to enjoy the meal because of her. Food wise, the claypot chicken drumstick wrapped with cabbage was flavourful, seafood laksa was too mild and watery, KL hokkien noodles was nice, salted egg pork ribs was not to our liking as the meat tasted too soft. Love the coconut with peach gum dessert, it was delicious. A plus point is the use of robotics to speed up the serving of food.

Real hidden Gem at CBD area. Delectable food at affordable price without GST. No wonder it is always full. Almost every dishes are good. The chicken literally melt in your mouth. The coconut dessert is a must order for every table.

Pleasant place to have a nice formal / informal meal. Restaurant owners were really friendly and I was so inspired by their dedication and passion ?? Tried all the recommended dishes and food was excellent (especially the claypot veg chicken!!?). Will definitely try and remember to take a photo all the dishes when I return again. The peach coconut ? (warm) was absolutely delicious as well (soft and silky)!! ???

Our first time visit to this MYO Restobar by chance having our cny lunch. We were welcome and ushered to our table by an experienced staff. Very pleasant vibe, the restaurant is cosy yet with nice panoramic view if at right location since it is located at 19th floor. We ordered the cny menu set for 4 pax. The portions were very generous and all of us were having a good meal there. Scrumptious yet you won't feel tired of the food. Perhaps the good recipe play a part. Cantonese style, food with gravy or soup base are to my liking. The lobster served were big, the signature claypot braised chicken were very tender but bit salty for me personally. The staffs and business owner were very warm and helpful. They will come by your table, explaining the dishes, help to serve the dishes especially the claypot chicken as they worried we might not know what to do and how to cut and serve. Another interesting part is that the Restobar implemented two robots to help the servers deliver food to the table. It is in fact quite efficient and also help the older staffs to prevent injury by carrying heavy dishes. To our pleasure, we have a chance to have a few words with the business owner and came to know that he and his business partner were very old friends who enjoy fishing together. Started business since Sec 4 back then and it is coming to 50 years since started off as Kia Hiang. Some of the staff were about the same age as them when they joined the restaurant till now. Perhaps due to this, my first impression the restaurant was running by family members as the staffs seem very close to each other. I think this is a good discovery for us and certainly we will patronise again in the near future. Perhaps, not a bad idea to check this restaurant out when you want to try something new.

A colleague recommended this place and I enjoyed the food very much. The beef was tender and flavourful, and rest were pretty good too. Didn't order their signature dish and dim sum, will go back and try other dishes.

We had dinner here to celebrate a family member's birthday. The food was very good actually but why I rated only 3 stars is all because of service. Its service was mainly dragged down by one particular female staff ( the one who is always scrolling phone) who is so unfriendly as if the customers owe her lots of money. On the contrary, the one who impressed us most on service is the boss himself Mr Ng. Prices were very reasonable and ambient was good.

Good quality food at decent prices. Went there for mother's day lunch. Service was good however not too sure about the table management system and ordering platform as the staff had a mix up with our initial order, later on kept checking if various dishes have arrived by different staff and the soup came right at the end much later after all dishes were served. Aside from that, it was a good lunch.

Had the set meal here. The food is great! Especially the chicken and the yam bag ?? the food came quickly and service is good as well. Only thing was that the lobster was a bit finicky to eat, maybe the meat could be loosened from the shell before serving? The seafood is fresh and prepared nicely! Do visit ? And they serve complimentary birthday buns if you let them know in advance!
