โ โ โ โ โ Consistently disappoints.
Poor quality for the price it charges. Just some rice mixed with flimsy fish. Salmon passed off as salmon belly.
Guoco Kuriya is a serious drop in standard compared to flagship Kuriya outlets. Maybe the whole chain is going down the drain and cutting costs and quality

โ โ โ โ โ One of the worst experience ever in Japanese takeaway. Firstly food donโt taste fresh. Secondly bought California and unagi hand roll and the portion of rice was one quarter of the roll which makes me wonder if this is of Japanese standard and it cost similar if not more than onigiri from DONKI.
Felt cheated and unjustified for the price coming from a Japanese restaurant.
Should not bother to patronise instead go DONKI to packet which is more worthy of price.

โ โ โ โ โ Quick lunch at tanjong pagar MRT station. It is located at the basement of the tower and price was pretty decent. My rice bowl was around $9. Queuing time is abit longer than expected.

โ โ โ โ โ Loved the wide selection of sushi, udon, don and they have icecream. I loved the Niku Curry Udon especially, it has a rich sweet japanese curry flavour and the beef yakiniku is pretty tender.

โ โ โ โ โ This โwholesome chicken riceโ is really ridiculous. I didnโt know have such an awful taste Japanese food in world. Freezing cold chicken meat and tamago yaki, overcook broccoli, and smoking hot white rice soaked in unknown tasteless sauce.
The entire combination doesnโt make sense. It just looks like mixing of overnight leftover food with freshly steamed rice.
This thing costs $11.00, overpriced and tasteless.
This is the first time Iโm dining here, will not come back.

โ โ โ โ โ Quick lunch. Not bad. $12.80 Salmon bento. The sesame oil with chili ? not bad but no need for the chili. It kills the taste of the salmon. The rolls and tataki also nice. A bit on the high end for price, but considering TP I guess itโs not so bad. Might try again.
