★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely popular hokkien mee which needed only 15 minutes of waiting on a packed weekday lunch hour.
Wet and soupy which I liked a lot, but stock was a little sweet for my preference. Can't pick up any wok hei unfortunately. Evidently plenty plenty plenty of eggs had gone into the wok. So much so, the fragrance of fried eggs overshadowed the other aromatics like garlic and prawn broth. Standard 3 tails of small prawns and some silver of squid.
What I really love best, is the chunks of pork lard bits that've been boiling away in the mix throughout the cooking process, exchanging flavors with the HKM. Instead of the more commonly found variations that will sprinkled toasted lard bits over the finished product like an after thought.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The noodle taste quite bland and average today. Can't taste the prawn freshness from the prawn stock. Have better version of the noodle in the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe it’s the best Hokkien Mee I have ever had so far. It’s so creamy and delicious. And when they say to wait for 40 min, it’s the worst case scenario. I got mine ½ the waiting time. Worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty wet hokkien mee, with pieces of lard which adds to the flavour. Had to wait about half an hour, as there were a lot of take away orders. Ordered 2 $10 plates for my son and I. Friendly service. It was worth the wait. Will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 8pm on a Sunday morning and it’s already a 45min wait for the Hokkien Mee… this is a more gluey version of the HKM… full of seafood taste. Definitely one of the best HKM is Singapore. Worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hokkien mee was fragrant and wasn’t soggy even after a bit of a travel time back home. Loved the wok hei of the noodles! Prawns were also fresh unlike other stalls where the prawns tend to be over cooked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely one of the best hokkien mees in town. The noodles are cooked al dente, on the wetter side, with the right amount of wok hei and flavour. The people behind the stall are lovely smiley folks.
Waiting time is usually no more than 15 mins, for lunch on Saturday. Hope they start accepting cashless payments soon ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on a Saturday around 11am. First thing you want to do is place an order and get a buzzer. The Hokkien Mee is really good and this version has slightly more sauce. I did ask for more fried pork lard 'crackling' bits, and it really adds another dimension of flavor and texture. Excellent dish with a fair bit of depth. If anything, I'd say it could use more "wok hei" / char taste. Very satisfying, as I was eating, I placed an additional order for my family.
