b	barry L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered black curry rice set. The tonkatsu came in pathetic few pieces and as the earlier reviewer mentioned, more batter than meat. Don't believe the mixed grain. It's basically white plus brown rice. Better off paying more to go Ichiban in the same mall. This place is 'what you see is not what you get'. And why is my iced lemon tea with foam????

I went for the Fiery Spicy level for the sauce. It was manageable but you can see the little chilli flakes and so its more like chilli spicy instead of the curry spicy.. Pretty reasonably priced and staff were polite. Good for quick lunch.

The iced Lemon tea tasted more like sour plum tea, colour was a bit off too. Pork Shabu Curry Ramen Taste - 3/10, curry was super diluted, lettuce + curry = not a good combination. Portion - portion was good.

The Tendon (Tempura Don) is very good. The tempuras are crunchy outside with a good firmness. The sides like udon or california sushi are standard. I don't really like the custard pudding.

The curry rice is not worth the money because you can get better quality for the same price at other restaurants. The quality here is inferior to that of the kopitiam washoku goen chicken cutlet curry rice.

As the name suggests, their food is based on Japanese curry over all their items, with both rice and noodle sets available. Not too bad in taste but can get a little gelat after a few bites unless you are a right Japanese curry fan. Ramen is cooked well but couldn’t taste much of the flavour as it was over powered by the curry. Portioning is filling and pricing reasonable.
