Located within Jurong East Bus Interchange, a major public commute hub next to Jurong East MRT station. This stop is where you will purchase your ticket or tap card from the counter named Manja Link. Please note that to get the best rates you will have to get a separate new tap card from them, it is different from EZlink. If you can live with the price difference then stick to your Ezlink card for convenience. It should link you to most major shopping places on JB side. So having some Malaysian Ringgit on hand is still recommended, although money changers are plenty at both terminal end points on the service line. If you are planning to return on the same day, best to check the timing of the last bus out before starting your shopping spree. Other than that, travellers should know that this bus brings you across into the state of Johor, Malaysia. So please observe immigration protocols, a valid passport with mininum 6 months to expiry date and a valid entry VISA is a must subject to your nationality. I have been traveling to and out Singapore from JB, Malaysia since 2006. There are lot of good changes yet still lot need to progress. Looks like buses are more frequent to Jurong East instead to Boon Lay. Today at the time i am writing this, waiting in Tuas checkpoint for more then 1 and half hour just for Boon Lay bus which only 1 came in between and not all passengers manage to grab it.It was smooth traffic in both customs today yet had to stand for the bus. I hope this issue will be given attention and some actions are and taken soon. Thank you.
