★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a chocolate cake as a birthday cake, and the quality is GOOD! I ordered through grab because of the pandemic, and the cake came in perfect condition! It also tastes goos! First time try D9 and i am very happy about it. Will try other cakes another time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff assisted with the WA order of cakes. The website only allows for same-day order. For hotel standard, the whole cakes are rather reasonably priced. Strawberry shortcake was light and not too sweet. The kids loved it! Note that there is gelatine used in the outer layer of the strawberry shortcake hence it should be kept chilled as much as possible else the gelatine would start to melt.
The double chocolate cake (55-60% dark chocolate) and Royal Hazel were good too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cake was lush but very weird service. We were sat at a table but had to get up and order the cakes ourselves. After which we were told we could order coffee at the table ? Cake and drinks were great, nothing to say but half way through my drink which was perfectly fine, the waiter just took my glass and said they just received fruits and changed it for me without asking me if I would like him to do it ? ( I ordered a Pimm's G&T ) Might come back for the cakes to go. Dining in ? Probably not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A buddy bought the chocolate cake for my birthday. I have seen D9 but this is my first time trying from them. Now I know why people say it’s so good. The chocolate is so rich and the sweetness is just nice. One of the best chocolate cakes I have had! Should try more of their cakes in future ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to have the best cheesecakes in Singapore especially the walnut, it was my favourite. The last time I enjoyed it was maybe 1.5yr ago. What happened? We bought 3 (walnut, blueberry and NY cheesecake) about 2 weeks ago and the standard has dropped so much. So overwhelming sweet and disgusting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The double chocolate cake is really good. Managed to finish 80% of the slice myself after a full meal which is rare for me. They have a tea set deal going at $14++ for coffee and cake in the afternoon. Good deal for a chill out afternoon tea at a cosy space. Service staff is very friendly and made quite a bit of jokes here and there. The old Hilton has been taken over by IHG and now it is called VOCA rebranded to cater for younger crowd.
