★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually come to this hawker for the satay but always see a long snake of queue for this chicken rice stall. I finally decide to join the queue. From my observation, their fried chicken wings seems to be a hot seller so I naturally ordered the fried chicken wings rice. It comes with 2 chicken wings, and since I queue for so long, I decided to add an additional wing. The chicken wing is first dip into their in house batter and deep fried. About half way, the chicken wing is transfer to a second seemingly more shallow wok to continue frying. The result is a chicken which is very crisp and yet juicy and tender. Big thumbs up and I will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Read some great reviews about how great is this Hainanese Fried Chicken, thus drove halfway across Singapore to try. I had been trying to look for Hainanese Fried Chicken wings for the longest time. Growing up, whenever I had swimming classes, my parents will bring me to the Hainanese Tze Char places along Farrer Road. There were a few there then, and the fried chicken wings were awesome. Those days four decades ago, we didn't even had KFC in Singapore, and fried chicken never had batter. Hainanese fried chicken wings were fresh chicken wings savoury marinated then deep fried. You can taste the juicy chicken lightly marinated, and the skin were crispy on the edges, tasty on the meat and skin. Now at 730pm, the stall is yet to open yet there's a long 30 persons queue already. Took us nearly an hour, and we ordered only 1 chicken wing rice plate, and 5 seperate chicken wings extra. I must say the Hainanese Chicken rice is quite aromatic, though a little too damp. Fluffy, but lacking in ginger aroma. The fried wings, in my opinion, which is crispy batter, is a little dry. Quite a basic wet batter fried chicken wing in my opinion and nothing Hainanese about it. Though its quite a good combo with the slightly mushy and wet chicken rice. Chilli is vinegary and spicy. Lacks a bit of the gingery fragrant oomph. Decent chicken rice. But not one I would drive my family halfway across Singapore nor queue for an hour

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken Rice with Glizzard and Fried Chicken Wings. The fried chicken wings reminds me of the old school carona chicken wings rice and their hainanese chicken is pretty decent for late night craving for chicken rice if you do not want the pinch that Boon Tong Kee or Five Star charges at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pro-Tip Order before they open at 6pm or else you have to wait till 7pm +
Rice is so so only and not alot.
Chicken wings is serve extremely hot and
fresh and juice and tasty.
Chili their best selling point.
Soup nothing special.
I came at 6pm was told need to wait till 7:30pm and she was not joking.
Many regular customer have already ordered before they open.
And I love their chili follow by their chicken wings. The rest so so only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 hour queue for one of my favourite fried chicken wings ? Personally I find Da Ji’s chicken wings and rice more flavourful than Victor Famous Fried Chicken Wing Rice, but that’s just me. Da Ji only opens at 6pm and usually the queue is already up by then...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flavourful and crispy fried chicken wings that had a strong taste of ginger. However, chicken wings were rather small and a tad too dry. It’s good, but not the best hawker stall fried chicken wings in Singapore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard about this stall and always tuned of by the long queue. After my noodles decided to try out since the are no one! Maybe it is 10.30pm… it has a ginger and galangal flavoured (I might be wrong). Not bad, but definitely not wow… $1.40 is on the high side even though they are in the neighbourhood hawker. Will try their chicken rice the next round.
