The fish soup is very good. I always go for salmon fish soup with rice and ota. If not Tomyam seafood soup with rice and ota. The que here is very long after 5pm during weekdays and weekends. They are close on Monday and Thursday. There are many verities, yet to try other soups. Will add photos the next time. ?

The fish is fresh but the queue is long. The soup taste good and generous in giving vegetable.

Slightly cheaper than other sliced fish soup stalls. Broth was light and sweet, quite generous with the number of fish slices and came with bean paste chilli. Stall only accepts cash payment and there is no available atm/7-11 nearby to withdraw cash.

We came across this Teochew Fish Soup stall while searching in the vicinity for simple food after running our errands. The queue lining in from of the stall surprised us even though it was around 5 sharp in the evening. Without further ado, we joined the queue without thinking much about taking a look at other stalls around. We ordered the Red Grouper Fish Soup and I'm kind of alarmed by the plainness from the taste of the soup. The taste of the soup was indeed very simple, bland and without too much of sweet flavourings that we often get from fish soup stall. However, there was a little hint of sole fish taste from the soup. Red Grouper fish was fresh and cooked together with beancurd skin and bitter gourd Red Grouper Fish Soup - $8 (Small) Minced Meat Fish Soup is an additional item on top of their menu printed on the signboard. I must agree that their fish soup is clear, simple and straight forward with standard ingredients like tofu, vegetables, sliced fish and minced pork meat. The thickness of the cut from the sliced fish is relatively thick and acceptable. With the minced meat added to the soup, I find that the soup is a little more robust than the Red Grouper Fish Soup. Minced Meat Fish Soup - $8 / $10 I learnt that it was a crowd-pleaser perhaps due to the simplicity in the preparation of the Teochew fish soup. Instead of loading soup with MSG, they have chosen a healthier and natural way for consumers by offering a natural taste from the fish. The freshness and quality of the fish are of no doubt, its definitely worth the money paid for and that has explained the length of the queue.

Sliced fish was fresh and smooth. Soup was sweet. Otah was also delicious - spicy and smooth. This fish stall - without a name - was a great find. I will be back to try the grouper fish. You can add on golden mushroom for $1.50. Went on a Saturday at 3pm queue was short.

Lovely place for good quality fish soup with many options. Ordered the ang gau or red garoupa for 10 and many pieces. Incidentally ordered for before for my steam boat this year from them too, very nice. They have many options incl mix with meat etc. Chilli is decent.. the food court however will be closed for 1 month renovation from 3 Feb 20.. enjoy

Came here on a Sunday around 5.15pm and had to wait 15 - 20 minutes in the snaking queue (it's worth it!). Ordered both the batang and red grouper, I think the batang was a better choice and will definitely be back for the batang porridge (came with minced meat). I especially liked how 清淡 the soup tasted, and how well the dish went along with the accompanying fermented bean paste sauce.
