My family and I attended Ricky's training at Bishan Park over 6 weeks. We learnt SO MUCH during that time. Our dog (a rescue dog) had started to take over our home, and was becoming a threat to guests. That's when we decided to enrol him (and ourselves) in training. Ricky's instructions about pack leadership, using our voices, and the right ways to walk the dog were especially useful. Naturally, the learning phase was not simply restricted to the 1.5 hours during the weekend. Ricky insisted that we practice it every day - and that was a huge help. Literally 2 days after the 6th lesson, we began renovations at home, and we were able to leave our dog unleashed while the contractors walked in and out to install cupboards and paint the entire house. In the past, our dog would rush to the front door when he heard the doorbell, but using the commands which Ricky taught, we were able to get our dog to adopt a crouching position and stay a good distance away from the front door. And because of the renovations, we kept the door permanently open also! Our dog still has some way to go before he's really social, but the fact that he's not running straight to the door to attack a visitor/worker is a HUGE blessing!

A delight for my dog to be taught on how to walk with a martingale collar. Very much easier to walk her and she is now more obedient too.

Have engaged Ricky for obedience training since we adopted Kopi when he is 4mo. Ricky is helpful providing tips from kopi’s diet, toilet training to leash training. No doubt that with Ricky’s guidance, not only has Kopi become more confident, we are also assured as pawrents that we are taking training in the correct direction.

I have learn a lot and has better understanding of my pup, and i have learnt that sometime the pup behaviour that is deem difficult is actually cos by us the leader. This course has help my communication with my pup improved and i will definitely recommend it to other pawrent which i have already done so. Getting a basic obedience course like this for pup is an essential step towards better relationship between our dog and us.

Trainer is experienced n knowledgeable. Give a lot of guidance on house training and dog walking. I used to walk my dog at 11pm to avoid people so that they won’t be scared of my dog. Now I can bring my dog out anytime and even to crowded places.

Thank you Ricky for training my 2 dogs though my baby Sha has crossed over to the ? bridge, I am very certain she remembered your kindness and patience with her. My baby Sha had anxiety issues, as well not socially very confident and comfortable with other dogs, Ricky was able to guide her and work on her issues, we could see a drastic change in her confidence which she carried for rest of her lifetime. Ricky also trained our Sparky. Spanky started his training at 7 months old and is a very happy and well behaved doggie. Thank you for all your patience and kindness and also a firm believer of never using harsh methods (anyway l will never allowed my dogs to go through any harsh methods of training!! :).
