Quiet, unassuming restaurant in a corner of City Gate. Food was excellent. Ordered 2 Curry Debal sets which came with a bowl of rice, a small portion of curry Debal and a portion of vegetables. The pork in the curry was extremely tender, but retained a slight firmness, resulting a very pleasant product. The curry is not the typical type of curry one might expect, but is more akin to a stew with many spices. The spicier (chilli-spicy) version of the curry was not spicy by most standards, and went extremely well with the rice. The vegetables were a good accompaniment to the dish and added nice texture to the final product. Subsequently ordered Grago cutlets, which were freshly fried upon order. Cutlets were flavourful and even though deep fried, were not greasy. In my opinion, the quality of the food justifies the prices. Highly recommended if you are in the area, and is worth a special trip down just to try.

Delicious authentic Eurasian food! It's quite rare to find affordable Eurasian restaurants in SG, so imagine my surprise when I found this quaint looking diner. Ordered the burpple set for 2 ($18) and the grago cutlets (3 for $9)! Really worth the price! As a Eurasian myself, it was very interesting to try a different Curry Debal since every family has their own family recipe (and we can never agree who's is better but this is definitely one of the better ones!) Curry came in mild or spicy, and was very generous in the quantity of meats served. Definitely order the grago cutlets, it was served piping hot with a meaty bite in every mouth. Will definitely be back!

First time visited the restaurant. Ordered curry debal. I seldom tasted such great curry. The spices are very rich and fragrance, away from the curry / rendang which I always eat. The pork is the a real deal: if I am not wrong, that's the pork part for making pancetta. Very tender, lightly smoked = enhance this curry to a high level of standard.

$10.90 for the devils curry … was hesitant to pay this amount for a small bowl of curry , but the signs says they use the quality ingredient. Do I like it ? Never tried the devils curry before , so it’s interesting and not too bad. If u have never had it before … give it a go. Might try the other dishes next time

This is it. The Authentic Eurasian Debal Kari (Devil Curry). Be sure to try their fried Gargo (little shrimp) Cutlets. The kari is not as spicy as you thought it would be, hope chef could make one original spiciness level for the true Eurasian cuisine fan like me :) i promise i will come back.

Went to try their Devil's curry after reading about it on mothership and it did not disappoint! This is my first time trying Devil's curry I got two small sets ($10/one) as the large Devil's Curry was meant for 3 pax and I also ordered the Grago Cultets ($9 for 3 pieces). The Devil's Curry goes extremely well with the rice and it was filled with many different spices. The meat was tender and it was of good quality. I chose the spicy version and it was manageable. Non spicy eater can consider the mild version. The Grago cutlets was quite good as well. Cripsy and nice. Highly recommended and will visit again. Oh do note that they only accept cash, paynow QR or shopback pay.

Tried this devil curry place as it seems to be blowing up my social media. It was very quiet when I went. Ordered the curry and fried chicken. Its a bit on the expensive side. The curry is good but I wouldn't say it's special or must try. Also got the fried chicken and it took awhile to come out but assume fried fresh so that was OK. The fried chicken was pretty good with good crunch and flavour.
