Location not bad. Rooms nice but not very clean. Service abit slow. But my kids enjoyed the bath tub at splash room.

Stayed at Splash room for the bathtub. The bath tub is really amazing, it's super deep and comfortable. Most bath tubs are uncomfortable around the neck area but this was really comfy. The room size is alright and my room has the pool view. The pool water is not too cold, seems quite clean and it's very suitable for laps. Saw some children swimming too with family. Pool area is very pretty. Small but sufficient gym area. The hotel main hall and corridor decor is not my style lol but overall, a decent stay. Service is not bad too. Location is great, above Outram MRT. If it rains, then you can still take the trains to other malls / sheltered area and not get drenched. Otherwise, the food choices nearby from local food to pubs is also fantastic.

Jermaine is really passionate in making sure her guests are at ease. As we couldn’t find the parking area, Jermaine offered to walk us there while we are in the car. Is definitely a wow factor!!! Swimming pool need a little repair and the tiles are kind of slippery. The splash room bathtub is amazing.

Room is decent and clean. Service have alot of improvements needed. No bellboy to help load and unload family luggage, all self service using trolley. No complimentary parking but charge $12 per exit. No ideal for family stay. Best to avoid if you want self service everything from a self claim 4 star hotel.

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the sushi restaurant lady who was very kind. The location of the hotel is great as it is right next to Outram park MRT, and is in Chinatown which means 7 min walk to amazing restaurants in the area. Cons: My holiday at Dorsett Singapore started off very poorly when I found out at the check-in desk that the pool was "under maintenance". When I checked the pool, there were no workers and the area was just sealed off for anyone with just a couple floor planks out of place. Bummer as this was a huge selling point for me when booking this hotel. (the pool is very nice by the way!) The rooms were decent enough for a 4-star hotel, but had a few nitpicks that I would like to point out. I stayed in the Deluxe room, and the curtains did not cover the whole window and had to use band- aids to tape them to the wall. Additionally the shower was weird as the drainage worked perfectly but the floor made it so there was always a pool of water right at your feet as there was not enough incline to drain it, which was annoying. Worst part about my room was that the A/C unit was constantly on blast. I tried to set the temperature to 28 C but the room temperature kept staying at 19 C, and only went down when I turned it off. Overall: Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a budget, don't expect this to be a 5-star hotel because it is not. There are several maintenance needs the rooms need as they seem pretty dated, but I had no huge concerns and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Got a nice deal, so we gave it a try. Location is very good as most attractions are within 15-minute taxi ride. Room was decent but began to look tired. Don't expect smiling staff here, especially those at front desk who had never greeted us and seemed to be upset when we complained about room being not ready at check-in time.

Everyone is very welcoming from booking to check out! The rooms are clean, the complimentary items are always refilled, towels are replaced daily and all. They are all very accommodating especially Ms. Maggie. My guests were very satisfied as well. Planning to book again soon!

spent 2d1n here and got a complimentary late checkout. 1st time checking in & had an enjoyable experience! - room was cooling, spacious for solo guest. - basic amenities were sufficient & well ventilated. - some parts like the headboard @ bed, ceiling had signs of wear & tear. could do a mini overhaul but i can look past that. - loved the pool area and scenery but some of the tiles were broken. - overall i loved the location, the room allocated to me as it was quiet, peaceful & location was accessible to malls/eateries. i enjoyed my stay here, and i appreciated the service. wished the late checkout could be extended further as it was quite rushed for me. would revisit if there's another chance to do so!
