The Keong Saik Hotel - 69 Keong Saik Rd.

Stayed there for two weeks. Super friendly staff, clean room and strategic location for travelers. Close to Chinatown MRT station, very close to bus stops. Staff was always smiling and very considerate. Reasonable pricing as well. Just about every ingredients for a perfect stay!

Superb location with MRT & many amenities just 5 mins away. Room was comfortable, with kettle, mini fridge & smart TV. Shower had 2-in-1 shampoo/soap, so bring your own if you're particular about it. will return ??

The room itself is pleasantly spacious and the aircon is really cold(you can adjust the temperature to your own liking). The bed is comfy, the room smells nice/pleasant. For the price, it is really good but if you're planning to stay over for a night or two, I would recommend bringing along a pair of earplugs because the humming sound of the AC unit is party obvious/noisy especially at night. Toiletries are provided, free coffee and/or tea, and the wall plug by the bed has an international adaptor for my foreign friends. Overall I would recommend this place to my friends, both foreign and local. The main draw is the noise but it's not really that bad and I certainly slept through it like it was nothing.

Pros: The location is near Outram Mrt and there are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. There is mini fridge, hair dryer, smart TV in the room that allows you to watch Netflix and Disney plus. There is a big sofa in the room. Cons: not a lot of parking lots near the hotel and it gets rather noisy at night because of the restaurants outside. The hotel did not provide mineral water and toiletries. They only provide toothbrush, soap and shower cap. Toilet looks like a disabled toilet or hospital toilet. There is no ledge or door to separate the shower area so the toilet is really wet and slippery after taking a shower. They should improve the drainage in the toilet and place a dustbin in the toilet. As the sofa is so big, you cannot open the door fully as the door will knock into the sofa when you enter the room. The air conditioner compressor is really noisy at night and it makes a noise every 5 to 10 mins so I couldn't sleep well. I heard hammering noises in the early morning too so that affected my sleep. There is a lot of static when I turn on the local tv channels so I could not watch those shows.

Basic hotel but with good standards. As it's a shop house which is only 3 storeys tall, it is a bit noisy and bringing your own ear plugs will be good. Heard the garbage truck clearing bins at 1 am plus. Quite a good location and the hotel itself is not too noisy. I think it's good for the price and may consider coming back again.

great location near to restaurants, in the heart of chinatown, keong saik, tanjong pagar. clean room. light sleepers will be affected by poor sound insulation as its noisy at night from traffic and nearby restaurant patrons, early morning rituals from the temple next door and hotel lift sounds throughout the day.

Love love love this hotel, its got all the basic needs, clean rooms, strong hot water showers, AC, wifi and Smart TVs. We've stayed here the last 5 times we've visited Singapore, it's great value for money and very centrally located near all the bars, restaurants and hawker centers. It's also very close to Chinatown and the MRT
