A gym with basic equipment but also contain some rare equipment that is rarely found in other gyms such as a plate-loaded hack squat and T-Bar row machine. It also contains a squat rack and a bench press and cable crossover station that can be used to do cable rows with a little bit of creativity. However, the space between the pinholes of the squat rack is too much causing the pins to be either too high or too low which may be a problem especially for people squatting heavy. Update 270221: The staff have changed over the years and now the place operates differently as compared to the past. With the current COVID situation, the place now has a time limitation of one hour but you can stay longer if there is no queue for the gym. The operating timing is still the same with the weekdays being 5pm to 9pm and Saturdays being 10am to 2pm. I was here on the 270221, Saturday from 11:25am onwards. At around 12pm, the staff changed to an old man. I exercised there until 12:30pm when the old man came out and chased us out saying that there was a queue. I went outside to check but there were no one queuing for the gym. I went back to the old man and told him no one was waiting and he replied that he wants to close the gym way earlier than the stipulated 2pm timing even though one guy had until 1:20pm. He was very impatient and grumpy with us and just showed really pathetic attitude throughout the whole ordeal. When another guy came in at 1:05pm, he was forced to open the gym until 2pm to accommodate for him. Because of this, I am changing the review for this gym to be 1 star because NO PAYING CUSTOMER should be subjected to this kind of attitude. If you do not like serving people, then close down the place or let another person take over the gym. Worse of all, this gym is operated by the Community Centre for the Community, I live in Dover and am subjected to this type of childish attitude. This goes to show how much care the community centre has for the community.
