โ โ โ โ โ I made a call with someone name Edward for price checking while deciding to choose among the many dry cleaning services around the area.
I was told Dry cleaning for night curtains at $8.50 per kg;
Blackout curtains at $10 per kg; day curtains at $8.50 per piece.
To double check with their Depot Rd, Interlance branch offer since we lived nearer there so I made another call to clarify on the discount that I saw on Google searched: "Curtain Dry Cleaning 20% off Carpets 20% Off 24-Hr Drop-Off."
The guy who answered the call said the promotion didn't apply to the curtain cleaning.
So I thought all should be the same price, so my husband went ahead to their Vivo City branch as listed part of their branches. Thinking could buy something at Fairprice and have lunch there after dropping the curtains off.
Who knew, my husband got ripped off. He was charged way more than the price being mentioned over the phone at Vivo City branch. My husband were not aware of the different pricings and I had done my research before that.
Total for 2 day curtains plus 2 blackout curtains after GST. If drop off at Interlace or other non Vivo branch would be $58.85.
Where else at Vivo City basement branch, for the same items. We were billed immediately at $83!
And Edward said it's just few dollars different. Few dollars?? That's $24+ difference.
So $20+ dollars here with this customer, that customers X total numbers of amount they duped customers. That's a really profitable business. Everyone should get into a laundry business then.
Be aware where you go, don't fully believe on what you see on the websites even though they mentioned been in laundry business for over 40 years. That's why they are very good to know the customers week points.

โ โ โ โ โ Very rude person, did not apologise for changing the x2 confirmed re-installation date at the very last minute (literally after taking down my curtains he told me he can no long do that date) so I had no choice but to agree to the change of re-installation date. So why did he confirm via WhatsApp the re-installation date was ok x2 prior to pickup? Answer: Get the business first, agree to anything, then its fine to inconvenience the customer later because she has no choice by then and will have to pay.
His response was that he had already booked a customer and that I am being unreasonable in expecting him to commit to the agreed date, so I did not get an apology from this arrogant man.
