β β β β β Review for the month of August 2021...1 Word Disappointed.
Well my first time trying this food stall. The Noodle was abit HARD. The char siew is very normal and hard too. The chili is quite SPICY...I find nothing wow for this wanton mee stall.

β β β β β Q for anout 1 hour and waa lucky to be the last customer as they sold out around 2pm. Ordered $4 add ingredients less noodles. Generous amount of lards. Chilli sauce that kicks a punch (not sure if it's Sriracha chilli or their own recipe). Noodles doesn't have the alkaline taste.

β β β β β I've tried n taste 1001 Wonton noodles in my life n very little have satisfied me.
Today I was brought to Dunman food ctr to try this Wonton Mee. Granted that it wasn't sweet like many I've tasted. But other than that, I can't see any reason to say that it is good.
The noodles were alright with an ok texture, the chilli wasn't tasty (but at least it wasn't sweet), the soup was pretty bland, the char siew very normal.
Hence, I can't see the hype here. I'll give it a 6/10.

β β β β β Very good wanton mee that made me cery happy. Noodles were springy n chewy, wantons were succulent and meatpacked. 4 dollar portion v decent too !!

β β β β β Tried this for the very first time on a weekday to avoid the long queues.
Ordered the large pack ($4) for takeaway - was quite happy with the size and the serving (about 4 wantons).
Taste-wise, the noodles are springy, the char siu are soft and tender whilst the wanton are flavourful. The chilli sauce is not overpowering and will provide a tingling feeling to your tongue though Iβd prefer my flavour to it.
Overall, a nice bowl of wanton noodles for breakfast.

β β β β β The current operator used to be the Original Engβs Wanton noodle master, Mr Engβs assistant. The current stall is also Engβs original stall in Dunman Food Centre. The standard here has definitely dropped. Noodles taste of ghee & does not absorb the sauce well. Saving grace is the wantons, which is tasty moist & soft, not the hard wantons we get from other stalls.
Still prefer the original Engβs wanton noodles.

β β β β β My new favourite wanton mee in Singapore! Noodles are really chewy and the sauce is light and delicious. The wanton itself is also really juicy. Came during lunchtime on a weekday and there was no queue!
