My Pancake 面煎粿 - 271 Onan Rd

Read about this in 8 Days yesterday so went down to try. Was not disappointed. Pancake was full of ingredients. I ordered the peanut + peanut butter and coconut ones - both cost $1.20 each which I thought was excellent value for $. Regular peanut one is priced at $1. Crust was crisp but soft. Friendly lady boss as well. They sold out at 1pm the day after the article was published.

My favourite pancake stall and I always travel all the way there just to buy. $10 for 12 pieces, super reasonable price for such a yummylicious pancake. Every piece come with overflow of peanuts and lady boss always will top up more peanuts when serving or packing for your order. Love the texture and the taste, totally perfect for my liking. For those who love pancake, definitely cannot miss this stall.

I don’t consider myself a foodie but I love good foods and this is one of them. The best MJK I have eaten. The pancake is not overly thick yet full enough with one bite. You can taste the flavours and fragrance oozing out in your mouth. The friendly owner, told me he used not only the best flour for the pancake but also the best ingredients for the fillings. My take for any foods is always the best ingredients and the best efforts and we foodies can always smell that from afar. The fillings for the pancakes is so generous and so very tasty. I was eating the peanut flavoured one first and the generous grated roasted peanuts was all dropping out and I was trying to catch them. Flavourful, roasted and fragrant peanuts. Next I tried was the Gula Melaka coconut flavoured one. Yum yum is the understatement and I think that’s their signature pancake. Then I tried the red bean flavoured one. The filling was so generous that it oozed out with one bite and I have to try to catch that over my mouth. Traditional flavour and yet not overly too sweet. I bought all 6 flavours but could only try 3 though the boss lady said their peanut butter ones is also one of the favourites BUT I think every single one is a favourite judging from the customer orders when I was there. Let me recommend you my way of eating MJK which allows you to fully taste the flavours, efforts and love in the pancakes. Take a big bite of the pancake and chew with the full mouth. Taste the flavours with a full mouth and You can feel the flavours bursting out in all corners. Next take a small gulp of Kopi O siew tai into your mouth with the pancake in your mouth. You can really feel that the Kopi O accentuates the flavours, bringing out the flavours down your throat and through your nose. Yum Yum. Go try my method. Remember either Kopi O siew tai or no sugar. The pancake is already filled with sweetness, and it will sweeten the siew tai or Kosong Kopi O. Go try My Pancake MJK and I guarantee you an unforgettable and flavourful experience. Super yummy pancake with loads of peanuts & whatever ingredients you ordered. Ordered peanut pancake & i spy friendly lady boss still add in fresh peanuts from her tub for every customer. Definitely worth every cent paid for! Sit near the store and you can see how she churns out the MJKs! Peanut + peanut butter pancake is super shiok.

One bite and you will fall in love with your pancake......soft, fluffy, not too thick and very generous fillings too. Been here before and will be back for more of the super yummy pancake hidden in Dunman Food Centre (Level 1)

Didn’t noticed that this was featured on 8 Days. Spotted this stall while queuing for Rong Ji. A decent piece of pancake, slightly on the thinner side with good amount of filling. Pancake is chewy & I like how the grounded peanuts are less sweet. While the red bean paste is on the sweet side.

Very generous fillings, and pancake is not overly thick! Peanut and peanut butter MJK was delicious, coconut one was very juicy and fragrant, the friendly proprietor said the coconut is freshly grated. Would buy again if i’m in the area!

Not too sweet, chewy inside with crisp outside. Good variety of flavours. Sweet corn and peanut was good! The contrasting creaminess of the sweet and cold corn, with the savoury peanut crumble made for a great combination.
