★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cosy eatery hidden inside a shopping mall. Had the pipa duck thigh noodle SGD$6.80. Very value for money to me. The pipa duck was flavourful and tender. The sour plum condiment goes well with the duck so was the chilli. Noodle was slightly salty. The ventilation needs some improvement as the place was smoky and warm.

Roasted duck skin is crispy and when you bite on it, it melts in your mouth. Pipa duck is also good but prefer the roasted duck. Must try with their chilli...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered home delivery as they've temporarily shut their storefront due to COVID. The pipa duck is truly amazing. It is better than most restaurants' roast duck, at a fraction of the cost. All this, despite it being delivered instead of consumed on-premise. Hands down the best duck I've had dabao-ed or consumed at home.
Customer service via Whatsapp was also prompt and polite.
I'm surprised this has not exploded into the next big roast brand in SG. 100% would order again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Pipa Duck via Oddle. Serving size is decent for the price, taste was above average, however for a whole duck only small containers of sauce and chili was provided. Was expecting more sauce or even gravy, the type that could go with rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the roast duck drumstick and pipa duck noodles. Sure, the food was prepared with passion and heart. However, taste was mediocre (on the bland side). It was also not the cheapest. They have a rather extensive menu, with goose on the staple offering, which is very rare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glad they are more central now - Tai Seng was a little far for me.
Had the pipa duck noodles. The noodles had the smokey fragrance of shallot oil and had a nice bite - a winner with me.
The duck is lip smackingly tender and juicy. So pipa refers to the Chinese musical instrument and not the loquat fruit. No wonder didn't taste any fruitiness ?.
Will head back to try their other roast meats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste wise is above average but the serving is quite pathetic for the price. Dont expect a bowl of duck noodles to fill your stomach. Roast duck is better than pipa duck in my opinion. But there are better roast ducks out there that cost less.
