Great claims department! Submitted my claims for maid hospitalisation. Very easy progress! Trying to buy a new policy for renewal, but they sub contracted to another agent. Not as professional.

Since I had already sold my car, I cannot comprehend why ECICS are not able to refund the balance of my 4 months premiums after cancelling my motor insurance.I know it’s in the policy wording but there are many things in the policy wordings that insurance can make exceptions for. If I had make a claim against my own insurer ECICS in the last 8 months, I’d be glad to forfeit the balance amount but not even a dollar. I’ve been insured with 4 to 5 different insurer for the past 11years and I’ve done cancellation twice with my previous 2 insurers and I managed to claim back the balance premiums. I’m still not satisfied with their reply. I admit I did not read the policy wording word by word, but who does. Not going to purchase any of their policy in the future as there is no flexibility to benefit their insured.

Several months of delay in processing of claims and finally declined the claims. Our FDW was hospitalized at a government hospital in Singapore upon doctor's referral for palpitations. The discharge summary says likely panic attack as potential cause but it's not conclusive. Moreover line of treatment by hospital was potassium drop for which refill shot was given. However insurer finds a convinient opportunity to decline the claim based on "likely cause" - citing it's a mental disorder, and that too after several months after claim submission. Quite unhappy with this unprofessionalism. I agree with the poor reviews by others here and my experience is on similar lines.

Their service is rather slow and complicated just for a simple refund for early termination of vehicle policy the required a lot of documents.

Bought a policy from them for a maid. Sales staff told me the next day my maid can come in. Maid arrive the next day. Maid call me at the immigration, the insurance and bond was not processed. Never ever buy from them.

I received the claim for my maid’s hospital bill within 3 weeks. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Thumbs up especially to Miss Genevieve Kua! Excellent service!
