โ โ โ โ โ Collected my shoe order today and happy with the consistency of their shoes, this is my 7th pair and will be sure to buy more! I wouldnt say its top notch leather but $289 for italian calf leather is a pretty standard pricing and cant ask for more. I do believe they carry higher grade leathers with a top up but I would recommend to just go for their classic package if its for day to day work use.

โ โ โ โ โ Went there few days back expecting to do a full customisation of my shoes but was told they do not do that, the guy there explaned in detail they do made to order shoes with their default designs and allows for four different last shapes and a selection of the colours, they do provide patina services as well with an additional cost obviously, which started to make sense to me after awhile as I was wondering why it cost only $289 for a customize shoe with good year welting construction. I eventually made the order, must say I was satisfied with the staff that was very knowledgeable and patient with me, cant wait for it to arrive.

โ โ โ โ โ Been buying shoes from Ed at al since their Millenia Walk days - at least 7 pairs and continued to use their repair and re-sole services. Their shoes arenโt bad for the price but their services have been degrading and very unpleasant.
The service I get from Telok Ayer is still decent despite the 2 months of waiting time for new purchases or repairs but today when I visited their Raffles City outlet (for their sale event) it was horrible. The people that work there completely ignored me and other customers and were very rude.
Decided today that I wonโt be buying or recommending Ed at al to anyone anymore.

โ โ โ โ โ Very disappointed with the resoling service.
The shoes were supposed to be completed in less than a month. I provided my items in early Dec.
But they broke their promises TWICE in January that they will call me and be ready for collection in early and mid Jan.
Two months passed, I called them today again. The man (who does not want to be identified) said they will check now...and hung up.
What type of service is this?
TLDR- Don't do your servicing here.
Reply to owner: No it was not mistaken. Both contacts gave each other's number to me to check on the order. If it is the case, I hope you find a better repair store too.

Selected the products and customized shoes to preference which is also part of the shop uniqueness.
Ordered two pairs, waited more than 4 weeks and ended mismatched patterns and colors.
The boss mentioned, not in a very good tone nor oriented way which heโll ship for free and wait for another 4 weeks.
For the boss:
There are many more options available in the market. If you canโt manage customers, please hire someone could. Youโre nowhere in the Kano model to stay competitive and, you expected such a review in due course for being badly treating a customer.

My first pair of MTO patina shoes and there's really nothing to fuss about, size was fitting and it's comfortable for me even before breaking in.
Got them during their black friday promo and despite the covid-19 delays, I still got them in time as my wedding shoes, thanks to Theo. Keep a lookout for their periodic promos, pretty attractive prices.
Yes, there can be room for improvements such as more proactive communications but it's still all good for me - I email and I get my replies; and I've gotten friendly services and useful tips for shoe care.

โ โ โ โ โ Extremely poor service. Waited for my shoe for about 7-8 months and eventually did not get it. Emailed them multiple times with no response and had to DM them on instagram to chase for updates on my shoe. Eventually offered a refund and took >2 weeks to refund and only cause i reminded them. Will not recommend other people to order from them and look for other places
