I’ve been learning music in Edvox for many years now and it has always been a wonderful experience for me. The teachers and receptionists there are lovely people and are always willing to help. My teacher, Ms Tan Lay Cheu, has always been such a patient and understanding teacher who has always motivated me to do my best in whatever I do!

I have been with Edvox since 2011 and I am still studying there. My experience with the teachers whom I studied with were relentless in ensuring that I will soar in my music career if other career paths fail. Throughout the course of my experience, they had been three changes of teachers that occurred. However, their willingness and resilience in educating me with essential piano skills molded me into who I am today. My current teacher, Ashley Wong, is very cheery and loves to explore new songs to let me play. Honestly, my other three teachers didn't have that curiosity and solely focused on exam pieces. However, that doesn't mean that they don't have their own perks. Ms Chang Min-Ju was a perfectionist. She is the kind where she only focus on exam pieces and made certain that my rendition of the piece is exemplary, in the process making herself seem as a super performer. Ms Teh Ping Sim is a easy-going person and I always looked forward to meeting her every week. She never fails to make each lesson rewarding. Ms Lily Tjandra was my first educator, and although I only got to know here for a short period of time, her long experience in the Music Industry rubbed on me and inspired me to persist in piano. Overall, it wasn't a regrettable decision to join Edvox and if you have a branch in your vincinity and wish to learn music, I would always recommend Edvox Music School to you for your enrichment services.

Mr. Noel Pichay is a positive and motivational drum teacher. His demonstration and notes are easy to follow. He encourages me to challenge myself but is also very patient. As a working adult, he understands that my schedule changes so when it comes to makeup lessons, he is able to find a convenient time for my drum lesson. The front desk ladies are very welcoming and accommodating. They gave me a clear and detailed explanation of the school’s policies and registration process was smooth. It would be more convenient if other payment modes such as NETS/Visa are accepted for course fees. Overall, a very good music school!

My son enjoys his drum lessons with Mr Noel Pichay. So glad we found a wonderful drum instructor, in Mr Noel, who is approachable, friendly, encouraging and makes learning drum fun and a joy for my son. The ladies in the front counter, esp Ms Vivian is very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. So far all arrangements, payments with school are smooth and pleasant.

It took some time to decide whether to take violin lessons from a music school rather than a private coach. It is a common perception that music schools provide are cookie cutter training programmes. I found out that this is a mis-perception. I took the plunge and decided to explore. I'm glad I did. I was allocated a violin coach that has proved my initial hesitations unfounded. As a senior lecturer in my previous life, I found this coach to have all the attributes of an effective trainer: excellent communication skills, solid and well-grounded in the technical aspects of caring of the violin as a important aspect of musical mastery, and a sound understanding of coach teaching n student learning issues that promotes effective n meaningful learner mastery of the instrument. Of greater relevance to me, is his focus on helping me a proper understanding of TECHNIQUE (rather than, but not to the exclusion of repertoire) which to me is THE basic requirement for sustainable musical performance. I blessed to have such a coach. HIS NAME is HUI of Chua Chu Kang EDVOX Music School! He comes personally complimented n highly recommended. My daughter is learning piano with Ms Grace for a past few months. She is always eager and enjoy piano classes. Ms Grace is a very good teacher. She always provide specific feedback to recognise what my daughter is doing well and assist her to overcome learning gap.

Ms Grace is a very nice teacher. She is very patient with me and she is an approachable teacher. Whenever i have any problems with understanding some new things taught, she would kindly explain to me.. Whenever i suggested if we could learn a song i like, she would go for it. Shes a very steady and nice teacher that keeps me interested in piano :)

I am glad to see my daughter improve in her playing after taking the violin lessons with teacher Naomi in edvox. Teacher Naomi is young but she is very experience in coaching my daughter. She always tries her best to communicate with me after every single lesson ; make sure I understand the progress of my daughter well. Thank you teacher. :)
