โ โ โ โ โ Chicken without a head.....
The service and the handling of everything is absolutely complicated and a disaster.
No clear instructions or structure in the whole doing.
Nobody cares about appointment or timings, no information about cost or how long it takes.
This can be definitely improved, I was a bit shocked.
Need to come here three times because of unorganized work procedure.
Please getting better !!!!

โ โ โ โ โ very poor
1. no one answers calls ( tried calling multiple times on different days)
2. have to wait in a non airconditioned room at the embassy
3. bad location to get to unless you go by car.

โ โ โ โ โ Worst embassy ever! Need to go there 3 times just to collect the stamp for my visa. Suppose to pay $25-50 but the person in counter refer me to third party company for stamp collection. End up I paid $300 more, while I have already paid $1000 for visa approval in Viet Nam.
Plus, donโt bother to try calling them, no one ever pick up at all.
Everyone, please try to avoid this place as much as you can!

โ โ โ โ โ Booked a reservation before coming (needed to book 2 months in advance), and come really soon even before opening hours. Everything is smooth and done in a few minutes to renew my passport.
Receipt with appointment to receive new passport is mentioned clearly.

โ โ โ โ โ Renew and collect my passport here. Fuss free and smooth process if you have preparation and book appointment in advance. Morning for collection only and afternoon for other works. The staff is helpful and give clear instruction. Others give bad reviews said long waiting time because they never book appointment or come in wrong timing.

โ โ โ โ โ The most chill consular section of any embassy. No security guard, casual atmosphere and very few people. For a country of 90M people which has easily 10s of thousand citizens in singapore, I donโt know how they manage to not having many people turn up at embassy for anything.
Malaysia only has 1/3 of the population of VN and their High Commission is crowded like a zoo!

โ โ โ โ โ Tried to called for the whole day, no one answer the phone! Donโt bother to call, waste of time!!
As I needed the visa in 1 day, I went over the to apply in person. Was told by the old uncle that HK passport cannot apply e-visa! It is clearly stated that Chinese passport can apply for 30days e-visa, the staffs are not aware of the updates and anyhow chase me off.
Ended up applying online and paid money to a vietnam visa agency(check my google reviews if you need to use their service) to speed up the application for me. The agency is great, got my e-visa approved in 4 hours.
(I have came back from vietnam already)
Donโt believe anything the uncle say, he doesnโt know the rules that have been updated since March 2022.

โ โ โ โ โ Have made visa applications here since several years ago. Usually thereโs no issue except we need to submit many forms before the visa application, and also the embassy email inbox , nobody will reply to it as well when I send a message to them.
Hope that the embassy can improve its service as I made more than 30 calls during different days and nobody picks up the phone, just wanted to ask about submission documents before going down.
If not the person has to make a trip down to Vietnam embassy , queue around 1 hour ++ and make another trip down just to ask question and make a visa application.
