Eye's Vision & Optics（EVO） - 86 Bedok North Street 4

Visited this shop about 1 year ago and recently. Operated by a father and son team. One year ago, was served by the father and the experience was 4 stars. Very experienced and friendly. When you indicate your preference, he will not bring you designs of specs that you already indicated you do not like. He is also willing to take time to answer questions with regards to optical health. A very pleasant experience like patronising a friend. Could have been a 5 stars if not for the slow delivery of specs which took 10 days when promised in 3 days. The recent visit on 16th July was served by the son. The experience was very sales orientated and he will bring me a few branded ones and some others which he know i will reject because I already indicated I do not want such shape or design.he do so that i can only choose among the branded ones. He even ask me my age and do further testing on my eyes to try to convince that your longsightedness or presbyopia have began. Even though it turns out negative he can even "predict" that it (presbyopia) will start next year. Overall a very negative experience. I fully understand that the shop need to make profit but the way he goes about doing it is just so distasteful. 0.5 stars for his basic professional optical knowhow. So overall 2 stars. Unless you are a regular of the father, my suggestion is that there are better optical shops in the immediate vicinity.

My whole family has been patronising this shop for years and will still continue to be their loyal customer. Very sincere in serving their customers and definitely has earn our trust! Keep up the good customer service as always!

I have been visiting Steve at EVO for more than 10 years now. The service is great and the frames they carry are always stylish, with the latest design along with some classics. Best service you could ask for at a great price!

It was my second visit to Eye's Vision & Optics ( new Upper Changi Road branch). The first visit was to check on their contact lens. And the second visit which was two days ago was to enquire on my concern with my eye and I was serve by Lydia. She is a very patient, attentive & beautiful lady and able to answer all of my questions and professional, and she has left me impressed as she have absolutely good customer service( as I'm rather a fussy and particular person). She carry out the usual test professionally, then explain to me thereafter and patiently choose a lens that's on my expectation. Two days later, which is today, I realise I do want to have a change on lens frame, went over to the branch, and I met her husband, which is the son of the shop owner, he handled my case well enough and he was extremely patient and promptly offered that he is able to get my lens fix up, in order to fit in to my new lens frame that I want, and get my lens send out to fix it. And told me to return to collect my new lens at shortly 3hours later. Both husband and wife serve me well and I believe that they wholeheartedly give out their heart and time to reach for customers needs. I STRONGLY recommend this optical shop, not only their excellent service, but also they have many various fashionable style of lens frame that can definitely catch your eye!

Last year on 22 Sep 2020, I went to the shop to get an eye specialist referral and Malcolm Lim had kindly checked my eye and made arrangements for me to see an eye specialist the next day. He had also prescribed me a reading glass and that certainly was a “lifesaver” for me when my other eye had challenges after I went to see the specialist referred by Malcolm. I am indeed thankful for his kind attention and assistance rendered to me. His follow up a few months later on my situation shows that he cares for his clients. Thank you Malcolm.
