Starbucks - #01-14 Starbucks

Had a very pleasant encounter with one of the staff George working on 4 oct. he is very friendly and his customer service is very good. There was a lack of tables and he apologise to me for it when there’s no need. Otherwise he treat all customers with smiles and courtesies. He was also very prompt with cleaning and sterilising tables once customer leaves. He’s a good example how a more senior staff could still be a star performer. Thumbs up.

just had a very infuriating experience at this starbucks outlet. the cashier was very rude and unwelcoming, and showed me attitude. in particular, she was frowning consistently, insisting that my drink did not exist in the menu and had a hostile tone. truth be told, i was deciding between tea and coffee for the set so that might be very confusing on her end as well, which was my fault. however, that doesn't excuse her behaviour. i've never had such an experience at a starbucks before, and i literally ordered the drink so many times from different outlets, this is the only cashier that doesn't know what the drink is. i would be willing to let it slide if she was simply unaware and at least apologetic but she was very insistent and rude with exaggerated frowning gestures which was so off-putting. the food was great and the drink (i got another drink bc she wouldn't understand lol and the other staff who talked to her didn't even help much) was good too. inappropriate and unprofessional attitude, she should work on herself if not in the future, she would definitely offend more customers. btw the drink in question is "golden monkey tea latte", this cashier insisted the tea latte doesn't exist and it's only in teabag form? i checked again on the starbucks all afterwards and i suspect that starbucks removed it from their menu (which again super confusing because it shows golden monkey under the TEA LATTE section on the menu board, also some outlets don't allow the tea lattes in ice form?? really not standardised across different outlets). anyway she could have informed me nicely but her attitude was aggravating.

Lack of knowledge by staff is one thing but the disinterest in the staff or manager to fix anything and to continue ignoring us was incredible for a business like Starbucks. We asked if we could put credit on our Starbucks card to purchase a gift card. Staff answered yes so in adding a $50 credit to the Starbucks card, we nearly got charged $3k. We told the cashier repeatedly that the display was showing a charge for $3k not $50. She denied it each time without bothering to check and it took approximately 5 attempts to show her what the card system was showing. After adding credit to our Starbucks card, she told us it was not possible to purchase a gift card with the Starbucks card... We were astonished. That is exactly our question 5-10 mins ago. Meanwhile a long line was forming behind us but they didn't bother to open another cashier point. Several staff members stopped by, cashier asked them if we could purchase a gift card with the Starbucks card, they said no. Manager stood there disinterested. Said no, but didn't offer any solutions. He asked "So you want to void?" then turned around to speak to another staff. By this time, the line had formed outside the shop so for the sake of the rest of the patrons, we left but feeling quite angry that we ended up with $50 credit to our starbucks card because the staff was not able to respond to a basic question but no one seemed to be interested in helping.

2/4/2022 ------------ The only coffee cafe now in the hospital.... Just your normal Starbucks. 2019 --------- I thought all Starbucks is the same.. But the mocha flap.is really flat... Unlike others .. the crush ice don't seem to melt. Maybe they didn't crush it enough..

Newly renovated with the special new store smell. Beautiful and refreshed. I love this place. Wall plugs almost everywhere. Partners are friendly. Coffee is great as usual. Iced Americano FTW.

Located in Mt E Novena, was there for a checkup & explored this place. Staff is really helpful & helping to manage seating. The whole cafe looks a bit old & sofa may need some refurbishing.

Surprisingly it was one of the busy Starbucks. With the patients and visitors, not forgetting the staffs of the hospital, during peak hours. Can be very busy. Service was good- their standard service. And the food was good too. The staff did her part to ask if I wanted jam or butter to go with my food. Overall experience was good.
