The hype is still bringing the business to them. They are not prepared for business. How could they not have spring chicken prepared at 1.30pm? I was informed that they are defrosting. The wait was pretty long at 30 mins. Could get similar or better at Arnold's. Gonna probably be my first and last visit. Left disappointed.

?? Lots of hype when they first opened in April with some Q-ing over an hour. Ive heard a fair share of poor reviews too. Since I was in the area to service my car and since there was no Q, I just gave it a try. The masses are correct and thereโ€™s a reason why there was no Q at 1:30pm and why its 2.5 โญ๏ธ on Google. Iโ€™ll rather have KFC anyday. I guess itโ€™s tricky too when it comes to fried chicken. Fry on the spot and customers have to wait, and when u fry first and the turnover is slow, the chicken gets stale ??โ€โ™‚๏ธ how liddat? @winnersfriedchicken_s1987 #winnersfriedchicken #winnersfriedchickensg #hippofeeds

Was here on a Tuesday evening, about 3 weeks after they started operating. It's located in the same coffees hop where the now-closed down Stew Kuche German eatery used to be. I ordered a spring chicken at around 715pm, and they fried one on the spot. Got my food about 15 minutes later. The batter and the thighs were juicy and fragnant as with any good fried chicken, but as I reached the breast meat area, it was evident that the batter or marinate couldn't reach the insides. The result was a rather dry and tasteless breast meat. As a result I would recommend ordering the chicken parts instead of the whole spring chicken. As far as fried chicken is concerned, this is at best on par with tenderfresh, and some distance behind Arnold's, although it's price point is still fairly reasonable for kopitiam fried chicken

Got the 5 piece chicken at $10 to try all. My order was a take away and started my first bites about 2hours later. Surprise to find it still nice without the soggy batter and chicken still not too dry. Decided to take a photo of the 3 remaining pieces here to share. I thought I saw a promo now for 2 chicken, check it out. Probably I will have given 5 stars if I have taken there. The guy at the counter was nice and recommended this 5pc combo.

Great tasting fried chicken without the cloy oily aftertaste. Agree with the tag line on the signboard - deliciously succulent crunchy and crispy fried chicken. Price is a little steep if you opt to get the individual pieces. It would have been great if they could have a bundle/bucket/party set price of x number of pieces.

If you been to Malaysia Bazaar and came across their fried chicken, yup itโ€™s them. Situated just beside Alexandra food village, itโ€™s their first outlet serving chickens in delicious batter made by their own recipe. Went on their first day and itโ€™s agreeable that the queue was long. But buzz word do travel very fast. Purchased their promo $3 for 4 piece chickens. Their batter is very nice and moist, not greasy and can last long when take away. The menu is very simple and easy to order. Definitely worth the visit to dine in or takeaway. But do factor the waiting time.

Fried Spring Chicken. As the stall name said, they are a famous Malaysia fried chicken stall that started off as a hawker stall. The chain has franchise its branding into Singapore and while I didn't feel it has the crisp of the international brands like KFC or Korean Fried Chicken, it does gives the old school coffeeshop fried chicken nostalgia. Remember those western food stalls in coffeeshops that does not look very hipster? Well, you can sort of find it here.

Came on a Friday evening 29 Oct at 7pm. The queue wasnt very long. Chicken wings are served piping hot and crispy. It reminds me of the old Do-Re-Mi western food franchise that I supposed has exited the market. Very juicy and flavourful. Definitely recommended. As for the long queues, I didn't experience that. So I am unable to ascertain. Just that the menu and pricing is pasted on the pillar wall on the left while queuing, which is a blind spot for most people.
