★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Badly managed. Cutlery for stalls all wet and "chucked" there in a mess. Little sauce bowls actually have water in them. Tray return stations are completely packed . Probably not enough manpower ? but overall still an ok place to eat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gotten shocked by the pricing for a bundle of vegetable. Nearly $8 for that bundle in the picture. Unfriendly staff upon asking for the price on the vegetable bundle. Horrible ~

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely shocking, more stalls closed than open. Ridiculous prices for lacklustre food and unfriendly staff. I ordered salted egg chicken rice from Yah Fu Mini Wok and it seems like the chef forgot to add salt. Yong Tau Foo was 8.60 for what you can get for $5 outside. I understand you’re paying for the rent but the food should at least be average. Disgusting and shocking of Food Republic. 0 standard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can only comment on the stores i ate at:
1. Chicken Rice Store (Forgot the name)
- Food (especially the noodles) were surprisingly inedible.
- On the other hand, the soup was good. I liked it. I paid $9 and the free soup was the only enjoyable meal from this place ?
- Hopefully in future, we can have better quality, value for money options in this food court.
2. Drink store (Forgot name)
- Had milk tea. Again undrinkable.
- I think Changi and the Jewel management should hire food tasters as their CSR.
- I never expected the food to be so so bad here
- A good point would be the generally clean environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eat here only if you need a quick fix for local food.
Portions paid for were miserable (e.g. $8 for palm-sized carrot cake in picture below, easily getting three times the portion outside), though to be fair, Jewel probably charges their stalls three times the external rent.
You'd do better travelling a little to any hawker centre in Bedok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away in a corner of B2, this Food Republic doesn't get the love it should. It's very quite (which is perhaps a good thing in COVID times), and some stalls are shuttered. The rating is for cleanliness, peace and tranquility (in a bustling Jewel) and for the Indonesian food from Padang Lezat - simple but nice!
