★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dine here quite frequently on weekends. Carbonara was good and not too creamy, chicken chop and sausage seem to have changed in size over the years but taste hasnt changed much. Their mixed grill is good too, medium well steak doneness was just right :) Queue took about 20 minutes on Mothers Day.

You will never go wrong with their char-grilled chicken chop with crispy skin. We changed the pasta to fries as my son loves fries.
The tomato soup is tasty and savory.
They charge 20 cents for water. If you do not wish to be charged, just walk to the nearest water cooler station to top your bottle.
Changi Jewel has many water refill stations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite dining places at Jewel due to its value for money offering. However this time, it was a disappointment as I found food quality seem d to be compromised. I ordered a mixed grill and requested for steak to be medium doneness and it came as well done. The chicken was dry, the ribs tasted a bit off and the prawns were fresh. I have dined at Hot Tomato several times and I can tell the difference. Service was friendly but crew were generally busy to keep a lookout at customers’ signal for service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was okay. Just that food standard have dropped. We came here when the restaurant had less than 5 tables filled. However, the beef for both the sirloin and the mix grill was overcooked. The sirloin we ordered was well done however, it was cooked till super dry and tough, definitely overcook. Same goes to my mix grilled chicken and beef. I had medium well beef, it was cooked to well done instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hot tomato is the most value-for-money restaurant in Jewel. The entire menu is very affordable for the masses. The food is also tasty.
I especially love the carbonara. It is not too watery and I find the consistency of the sauce to be just right.
The steak was also delicious, I ordered for it to Medium-Well. It was still moist and tender, not dry at all.
If you are dining with your family, be sure to also get the platter/ combo. You can share the wings, hotdogs and fries that are included in the platter.
Depending on your luck, you might be assigned to seat close to the edge of the restaurant, with a great view of the fountain.
This is my go to restaurant when visiting Jewel. Great food and it will not hurt your wallet. You will have a great time dining here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's lovely sitting outside facing the waterfall. The food arrived fast and it was value for money. The food is kids friendly and well enjoyed by them. Surprisingly not crowded for a Saturday lunch. Service is fine.
