★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this nice little restaurant just 30m from Chinatown MRT exit A to meet up with some chinese friends. The place was clean, bright and cool on a hot day. Ordered their chef recommendations: 金牌吊烧肉and酱大骨. Must admit that 酱大骨 taste very nice and "fresh" (without the fridge taste). 尖椒干豆腐, being an authentic 东北吉林 dish, did not disappoint. The portions are big and the three of us could not finish half of 酸菜粉条. Will come back for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a picky eater and this was the best meal I’ve had in Singapore! The kung pao chicken was to die for, perfect spice. Excellent noodles and pepper beef as well. Loved the spare ribs, saucy, fresh, and hot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! I've tried more than my fair share of Chinese restaurants in Chinatown and this is HANDS-DOWN my favorite place. I've tired over half of their menus so far and seriously, every dish is a delicate manifesto of Chinese cuisine. I can't get enough of the place and would recommend any Chinese restaurant explorer to give it a try. Trust me, you won't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The region, Northeast China boosts meticulously prepared food. While not banquet like, the family style dishes here are well prepared. Staffed by owners, service is excellent and friendly. It's different than other regional Chinese food. Less spicy than Sichuan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strategically located along Pagoda street and providing authentic northwestern cuisine from China. Both of restaurant owner and staffs are friendly and easy to approach. Dish wise despite of really good taste (yup it definitely be a certain standard to let a local Chinese foodie say it "tastes good") the price is very reasonable as well. For four pax of our dinner order, including four hot dishes and a cold snack plus some canned drinks, total cost is just reach 80 bucks. Don't even mention it's nice location and opening discount (for limited time as far as I know). Would definitely come back and make my mouth and stomach satisfied again. Well done and keep going Fortune Garden! ?
