★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't bother making reservations because they don't honour it. Make reservations via chope a few days in advance for lunch on a Friday. Arrived 10mins earlier only to be told that there are no seats. If we wanted, we could sit outside. There were empty tables inside but the server insisted that ppl have make reservations. But... So did I!
Didn't manage to try the food and we will never be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THIS RESTAURANT IS SUITABLE FOR SPICY-ER?
All of dishes here have a lot of ? and have their own special spicy.
I remember my emotion when I went there with my family. That is also the first time. Not only me But also my family scared of these dishes. And after we finished them, they still had a lot of chili.
However, I still usually order this restaurant dishes to eat at home.
My mom said: spicy but delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best and authentic sze chuan restaurant around.
Friendly staff, exceptional service and super delicious food made from fresh ingredients at very affordable price point.
Must try the 牛肉干 (beef jerky-ish dish) that is served complimentary. Other highly recommended dishes include the fried pork thingy and braised pork intestine.
Place can get rather crowded in the evening, highly advised to make reservations for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite skewer hotpot place in Singapore! Super authentic , the owner is also very passionate about this food himself. Try asking him for advice on how to make sichuan style dip ! He would love to show u :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reservation system is a joke. Booked a table at 6pm, came at 6pm sharp, waited until 7pm to be seated. There are a few other groups waiting, all booked at 6pm - some were seated even later than us. Shouldn’t there be a cap of seat limit?!
Food is mediocre at best, 3 stars for the food, -2 stars for the service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would say this is best sichuan/chongqing style spicy hot pot I have in SG now. Tried the 牛油 soup base and it was good! Not too spicy. Mild yet packed with flavour. I found the meat dishes on small sticks(chuan chuan) are just ok. Some marinated with spices so it was a bit overpowering the meat’s own flavours. Catfish is a surprise! Must try! Ribbon fish was a let down. Despite of that, I would still say it is a pleasant dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came on a Friday, advice is to come with your friends on time to avoid them giving your table away. Booking does not give your priority. I suggest come on a weekday. Despite that, food is amazing and skewers is worth the try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here honest review:
++ : the Chuan Chuan sticks are so niceeee. The meat weren’t tough at all. The pork knuckle soup base was nice too!! The sauces were alright. The dessert is very refreshing and has nice jelly too. Thankfully, the toilet is clean!
—: do note that the soya bean is the canned version. the place is very cramp and the queue system needs to improve. They didn’t give a queue number or record our numbers so it’s really base on their memory and the customer’s honesty.
We came on a Sunday around 7 and thankfully we didn’t have to queue too long. This place has limited seating so do go earlier!
Total damage: $77~ for 2
