Served by a man from China. Very stingy portion as the bowl is only 70% filled in the bowl, cut 30% from each bowl they sell so they can earn more. Over hyped Tau Huey.? Rochor tau Huey is still the best.

This franchise brand has many outlets but I find the server at Old Airport Road Food Centre is rude. Not once, a few times already, she won't walk over to you when u are in a queue but shouted across what is your order, expected you to shout your order back. When I didn't shout across, she grumbled that I spoke so softly ?

Stall Auntie really forgetful and dishonest. Paid $2 for a $1.50 drink and didn’t get the change back. As I told her I don’t want plastic carrier with the cup, and she forgot about the change. Happened that I used up all my coin for my dinner. So I am sure she haven’t return me the change. Told her so and she just ignore it. Don’t bother to waste my time arguing with this stubborn old lady regarding this. They are willing to loose customers over 50cent. Well , let it be.

There was a auntie with a hat on and her service wasn't the best. She was shouting at us for no reason. Excuse me I'm not your son/daughter. I know some hawkers are stressful. They wake up at 3am every day. But I'm not accepting this behavior.

Soy bean drink is smooth and good on the palate. No aftertaste on the tongue.

Soya bean drink ($1.50 for large) - average. From an earlier visit: Atap chee grass jelly ($2) - good portion, large atap chees, and the right amount of sweetness.

Never fails me, soft and silky beancurd. Always order hot beancurd no sugar + ginko nuts as topping. The sweetness is just nice!

Found a Whampoa Soya Bean stall (Whampoa in Old Airport? Interesting.) Ordered a plain soya bean curd to try. Mmm… the bean curd was soft and smooth, with the melted sugar, the content was really pretty good. $1.50 a serving wasn’t so cheap but we thought it was worth it. I went back to the stall to buy two more servings to takeaway, and asked for less sugar. The stall lady commented that without sugar, the bean curd would taste bland, but I reminded her “less sugar” and not no sugar?? Before I departed the stall, that lady told me that I should try the Gingko Nut Soya Bean the next time, she said it’s good. So another item to my list of food to try.? Old Airport Food Centre do have many nice hawker fares.?
