★ ★ ★ ★ ★ terrible experience, trash service. They said that they are fully booked and unable to honour our reservation. But there were 3 empty tables… While waiting, this other family got in. They rejected the table that they were originally assigned and was transferred to a new table. After 45 mins of waiting, we got a table that was rejected by the family. Sat down at 7.45pm, it’s freaking 7.58pm and no one bother to even take our order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A new Chinese restaurant which replaced Jumbo Seafood at NSRCC. The food here is decent and the service is not bad. They sell Peking duck here, and have it 50% off on weekdays. I enjoyed the braised homemade beancurd as it was tasty and soft. The dessert here is decent too!
Staff here need more training to work efficiently. Service is quite slow due to poor coordination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too crowded..reserved 1 week ago,way in advance but front staff couldnt find our reservations at all. They still had to give us a table as we had proof of confirmed reservations and we were 1st in q at their start of business hours..they were very very very very short handed so service (or lack thereoff) had much to be improved on.
Many items on menu were also not available and we were umdoubtedly perplexed as it was the weekend and a public holiday as well.
To be fair, some of the items that were on the menu and were available were pretty decent, like the egg tarts and the har-gao/siew mai..
But i probably wouldnt come back here again for those items as i can get them anywhere else without the hassle of driving all the way here and battling the hordes of crowds for a table.
We even had to refill our own tea as the staff left a water flask on our table and asked if we could do self service.
In essence, this place has so much going on for it like ambience and great views of the golf course, but it definitely has to up their game or it will be relegated to the annals of mediocrity.
My Rating: 5.05/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible place. Orders were wrong. Told us can’t change order because crab already cooking. 15min later told us to change order because crab sold out. No integrity.
Only Peking duck and garlic broccoli was passable. Fried tofu and cereal prawns were bland and tasteless. Roast chicken was dried and tough. Ginger spring onion fish slices was over cooked and burnt.
Service recovery was giving free mango dessert but it’s too little too late. Especially after seeing the bill for more than $300.
Never coming back again. Ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here are generally tasty. The peking duck skin and drumstick meat was really good; oily and fragrant. However the meats from the other area were a tad dry and lacked what you would normally get from a roasted duck. The seafood youtiao and spinach were alright only. The crab was good but could have done with a little more sauce. In general I would say the food is good but not exactly worth the travel all the way into a remote country club like this. The pricing of food items is also too expensive, we had a 15% discount too. The only reason for giving this restaurant 4 stars is because of the service of the manager. He was really attentive and gave free desserts and longevity buns for my friends birthday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy ambience and the staffs are friendly and helpful. Pre-ordering is required for the Beijing duck. A must-order dish is the home-made beancurd. Alternatively, Or nee is an excellent option for dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most horrible experience ever. Made a reservation on Quandoo, went down and they told me Quandoo made a mistake because they are fully booked. Our booking was for 7pm and we arrived at 655pm. There were 3 big tables empty at that time. Told me it was for 730pm reservation. If they had let me in at 7pm, some other tables would have been done at 730pm. A family came in later than 730pm and apparently knows the manager. Manager ushered them to the empty at the front. They seemed to dislike the table or for some other reason wanted to change their table. Manager moved them to another empty table inside and suddenly we now have a table. What kind of reason could it be that when a family switched seat there was suddenly an available table? It means that there was a table available all this time? And they waited 45 min to give us a table?
So we finally sat down and ready to place our orders. Waited 15 min to have our orders taken by apparently only the managers can take order. But at this point all the managers suddenly disappeared.
There were flies flying around and I even killed one on the menu. We saw someone’s Peking duck getting served and they dropped the cracker on the table. The waitress picked it up with his bare hands and put it back on the plate. That was when we know we had to get out of there. We waited 45 min for a table despite having a reservation, 15 min just to have someone come to us to take order. 1 hour for nothing.
Overall a very bad experience and will never be back without even trying their food. They blamed the app but it is on the restaurant to at least have the courtesy to call the patrons and let them know? It is Mother’s Day and everywhere else is fully booked. Where do they expect us to get a table?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended a birthday celebration dinner. We had the set dinner. The restaurant is situated in the NSRCC club. The ambience is modern and not too loud. The first dish is the shark fin soup with wanton. Verdict is good. The second dish is the fried lobster in pumpkin sauce. It tuned out flat. The lobster is probably frozen and is fried to mask the taste. We also had the abalone with mushroom. Average at best. Next is the teriyaki chicken. They give a generous portion but taste is average. We also had the noodle with meat. This is good. Dessert is Orh Nee which is a tad too sweet. If you have no where better to go, give it a try.
