★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the yam bites, so addictive. Sweetness nicely done, suitable for both old and young. The fried fish, steamed prawn with garlic and tang hoon, 四季豆 were also family’s favourites! Not really a fan of the pork trotter though~ overall, the meal was worth it! Pretty decent portions too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Google review 4.9 star so went to try but not that amazing. Price is OK for this kind of restaurant. But food does not taste exceptionally great for that level of review. Xlb has very thick skin and no juice. Fried rice is kind of dry. Noodle is the highlight for me but it's a bit salty. Generally not a must go place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to give this place a try as it was one of the few places that didn't have a queue and we were starving. We were shocked when we saw that they had a 4.9 starred rating from over 1000 reviews.
When we sat down we found out that they were offering a 1 for 1 dessert for reviews ? the food was pretty decent. The xiao long baos were quite good, so was the white noodle (seafood). The drunken chicken was on the tougher side but taste wise, it was ok.
Just feel that this place is good enough to stand on its own (with a good review) without the need of bribing customers to leave reviews.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Previously visited the JEM outlet and was really satisfied. Unfortunately, this outlet did not meet the same standard.
Visited while they were having their CNY menu & prices increased. Ordered a few of their signature dishes but taste was really average and not so fantastic. The garlic prawnd were quite disappointing as it wasnt as fresh. The fried rice was quite bland too.
Noodles were piping hot and good though, and we loved the candied yam alot.
Will probably be back again to give one more try and hopefully can give 5 stars next round!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall is nice, clean and warm friendly staff. Food served is really nice too but me and my wife personally find their fish abit too expensive for you can see from receipt close to $80 for the fish lol. I can buy 5 to 6 fishes of that size and steam myself..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seeing how highly rated this restaurant is, I went on a Friday evening with some expectations.
Service staffs are polite and friendly, however a little slow in serving.
The environment is very and noisy.
The food disappoints me the most. I read that their dishes are on par or even better than Pu Tien but turns out to be half the truth.
A good place for family occasion once awhile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All items ordered were chef recommendations from the menu (except for the rice). So, we don't know how this place earned a 4.9 ⭐ rating by close to 1.5k reviewers. In my personal opinion, it was a disappointment (party due to a 4.9 ⭐ level expectation).
I won't even get to details, but in gist, pork ribs too sweet, yam was a good idea but short on flavor (for the big pieces), salted egg chicken was oily, noodles too complicated (had celery, onions amongst others), but we did enjoy the cabbage.
