Glamping City - 112 Tanjong Beach Walk

Very accommodative! Despite the reviews online, glamping city team accommodated my last min request of setting a picnic table. Check in process was smooth. Slight delay due to the rain but overall it was a good experience!

Overall, me and my friends did not have the best experience with this company. 1. Last minute changes- The company contacted me an hour right before when the picnic event was supposed to start and told me they had to postpone it by 2 hours (keep in mind I had booked this 2 weeks beforehand). I had booked a picnic, movie screening, and cottan candy machine 2 weeks ahead of time for 12-5pm but it was only an hour before the event that they told me the movie screening would only take place after 6pm, when really they should have told me that the day I booked it. Since I booked it so much in advance, they really should have been able to take care of something as simple as timing for the high price I had paid. They ended up refunding my movie screening, but this problem shouldn’t have happened in the first place. 2. Service- When I arrived at East Coast Park and messaged them for directions to get there, the company was really unresponsive and didn’t answer 5 of my calls for 20 minutes. They take a long time to give assistance and respond to messages. 3. Cleanliness and arrangements- When I finally arrived, while the picnic looked pretty at first, I looked closer and realized that all the plates + glasses were wet and dirty. Additionally, everything wasn’t even ready (we had to assemble the dirty cutlery on our own). This is extremely inhygenic as they had promised on the website thag they would provide cutlery, yet they were all so dirty. Luckily, I had brought my own disposable plates and cups. Additionally, many things that were promised on the website for my picnic package were absent. The fan and ice box were not there so it was extremely extremely hot. The things that we DID recieve were not in good condition (dirty, fraying, wet). 4. The cotton candy- I had paid extra money for a cotton candy service. The pictures on their website showed a cotton candy machine with many bowls of cotton candy. The picture of the machine made me believe that me and my friends would get freshly made cotton candy from the machine. However, we found out after it arrived that it was just a prop with some bowls of cotton candy. This was extremely misleading and I would not recommend paying that much for the cotton candy service. Additionally, there is yet another atrocious example of terribe service. The cotton candy machine came over 2 hours late to when the party was supposed to begin and when I had tried contacting the company, they took time to respond and when they did, they just said it would come soon (they kept saying this for 2 hours). At this point, I should have gotten a refund for the cotton candy. 5. Value for money- Overall, I had paid a lot of money for the unassembled and unhygenic picnic. And while some things like the movie rental + cost of 2 people were removed, this picnic was for a very special event and there should have been earlier notice/better communication on the postpones.

BEST. DECISION. EVER. We had the couple package for a good friend’s hen’s night and the space was nicely decorated, neat and spacious! Their service was also great! When we needed something, they will pass it to you within a few minutes! Didnt regret engaging with glamping city! Now i cant wait to book another glamping with them for my family next. A must try experience for sure!

really love my stay at Glamping City! Tent was cozy and also the picnic with movie screening was a great experience for me and my family. Would definitely recommend this people!

Poor communication No one wants to call or pick up the call Delay by 3 hrs but didn’t bother to inform me until I called 1 hr later. Tent was so saggy and ugly Could hardly see the fairy light No one stayed to help with the set up of projector which could never get the audio output so we eventually resorted to using our laptop for audio Beds deflated within 1 hr, felt like I was sleeping on the floor Would never recommend this!

On the day of my glamping, the staff respond to me very quickly. Even after they left the site, they respond fast and is able to help me with my needs. I really enjoy the experience with my friends. We had fun as the tent is near the beach, we were able to play games and activities inside and outside the tent. There is plenty of space outside the tent to have games. The view from the tent was also amazing, waking up to a sunrise. It was a unique experience for sure. I would say it is all about experiencing something different. Its public toilet, so of course it would be somewhat dirty after many people uses it. The tent is not super new of course, because of constant use, but we are satisfied with it. I would say its rather clean. I recommend bringing toilet paper if you are a female, my friend complain about the toilet paper running out. Bringing a portable fan would be advisable as the weather can be really hot. For us, we kept complaining its hot despite the 2 fans provided. We enjoyed the stay and we think you would too if you think of it more of living among nature. The smell of grass, sound of sea waves and the whole experience made it really unique. Maybe the few complains i have is that the area have no food, and it is super far from the food centre. Luckily my friend ride bike to get food. Also, when its night time, the tent is pretty dark and its hard to see anything. I think it would be great if there is some light inside the tent which can be switch on/off.

Second time with glamping city. Toilet at ECP looks better as it has been newly renovated. Great sea view. The tent is only few steps away from the sea! Would not recommend it for celebration due to unpredictable weather but it is a great outing for family to enjoy the outdoor. My kids enjoyed it.

Cozy and beautiful set up done by Glamping city team. However, do take note that it is a public toilet so do lower your expectations on that. There is also a vending machine and water cooler nearby. We opted for extra ice as there is no convenient store nearby.
