β β β β β Really find another hotel with a better room. The pillows are very old, yellowish and dirty, with a funky smell. The bed is bad. I would rather sleep in my own home. The wardrobes are old, and the knobs keep dropping. The tiles in the bathroom are old and dirty. I wonβt be back even if they offered it free. Give some other hotel your money, this isnβt worth it.

β β β β β Although this is a hotel where the facilities are not brand new (the facilities still look newer than the true age of this hotel), the location is so pleasant for a meeting and retreat. The room has a calming view of green and blue (plants and sky) and you have an immediate sense of calmness. It's good for teambuilding and retreats. The parking is free (as in no need coupon).

β β β β β Definitely not worth the price. To be honest itβs worse than 3 star hotel but I paid over $500 a night, here is why:
1. Late check in. Waited 2 hours till 5pm when our room is finally ready. Tried calling the manager of quality assurance but no pick up at all.
2. Room is old and some stuff in the bathroom is broken.
3. They lost our luggage and had to do a search to find it finally.
4. Shower gel bottom in the bathroom area is empty. No room keeper to check daily?
5. Went to the bar (Le Bar) to get a drink before check out. Ordered a $19 drink but they charged $38 coz they forgot to update their menu online. Insisted not to give us a refund.
Conclusion - I believe they have a very poor leadership team and hence the low service standard. Else how can these not be corrected after so many bad reviews here? I blame myself for not reading the reviews earlier before I booked!

β β β β β Relaxing ambience with friendly staffs. However, the roomβs interior is old and all of their pillows have a funky smell - we had to request for fresh towels to cover the stench and sleep. Also, I was expecting a 5-star luxury hotel to have items like disposable shavers and masks at hand, but they do not have when requested. Overall a disappointing experience :(

β β β β β Overall a good stay, saved by Mr Eddy who went above and beyond. Had it not been for him rating would be 1 star. Resort getting old but has a charming side and beautiful natural setting. Bar and room service quality not matching prices which I encourage management to sort out.
Once again my deep gratitude for Eddy helping sort it all out

β β β β β I must say, the location is good as just next to the beach. However, the resort and spa are really far far far too old esp in this price range. People are nice, have not tried the food there though, as there are so many people there, but again, the resort is really very very very old. Some comments said the room is not clean. I can say, the room is already ok clean as this age, again, it is just super super super old so u no matter what will be lots of stinks here and there. You can find many cracks on the wooden floor in the spa. Be careful walking there.

β β β β β Would have given 5 star review had we not experienced some disappointments. Read below.
What's good:
1. Great ambience, surroundings. Near the beach and amidst lots of greenery. The architecture and overall setting of the hotel is French style and picturesque. Lots of good places where you can take photos.
2. Great breakfast spread. Loved the options.
3. Lots of peacocks around in the hotel.
4. Free fish spa
5. Nice and cozy rooms.
6. Complimentary wine for our special occasion.
What's not good:
1. Our welcome/arrival experience was pretty disappointing. The staff could have done better. No personal touch/communication to the way they greeted us. No proper guidance/introduction/overview of the hotel. A 5 star hotel and you can't even spend couple of minutes to get to know us and share what, where and how of the hotel? No welcome drink as well? There wasn't even much rush of guests checking-in that time.
We were left confused on how to navigate the hotel, what dining options are there, what activities we can do, whether we need to reserve table for dining or not.
2. Very few options when it comes to vegan/vegetarian food for in-room or at-restaurant dining. Please add more vegan/vegetarian options into your dining menu.

β β β β β Great service from Sunati who was manning the front desk. Check in and out were a breeze. Excellent selection of breakfast choices though getting there early before 8am is a must if you want to avoid the long queue. Swimming pool has ample beach seats to chill. The bar is also a good alternative. Great view at the dining place if you pick the outdoor seating. The place is not exactly new but you still have the fantastic facilities like a good hot shower and clean bathtub. Also the room was cleaned promptly when requested.
