Freshness standard and service dropping heavily. Just went to order takeaway. Wasn't even called using the beeper. Mention to the staff twice and was ignored. Not visiting anymore.

But there are others soup bases for non spicy eater like tomato ?, pork bone ?, pickles veg and vegetable ? soup base etc. Like the variety like mala xiangguo , 100g for $2.80, no GST & service charges. The selecting, ordering and collecting all by self service. The kitchen uncle didn’t talk alot, but other staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered mala medium spicy, Soup base was not too thick but can taste the sweetness of bone ? . Due to heightened alert & space constraints, only allow 1-2 customers picking the ingredients at a one time.

Usually the broth is very flavorful (possibly too salty for some) but I have noticed that sometimes the taste and texture differ slightly. Enjoyed the pork belly and collar, luncheon meat, hot dog and the beancurd skin. It is definitely quite pricey, so get most if not all meat if you want to make your money's worth.

I've only picked lotus, chicken, youmai, sweet corn, quail eggs, fishcake and egg tofu, and asked for pork bone soup base and it escalated to 500grams and $17++? No rice no noodles, don't understand why people were still queueing long to get in.. Eat alone not worth it.. Wanted to try because I had a great time at Zhang Liang Mala Tang.

Noon time no queue, but recently dinner crowd queue is getting longer. Need to queue average of 20mins to get table and pick the food. Their dumpling is quite good but abit expensive for 5 piece at $3.70.
J	Jay A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second visit : verdict is out , really not nice and not worth coming back . Price aside, the mala is so salty rather than mala . I will give two stars for now as only tried the pork broth based soup and not yet the mala one, but based on this first visit, two stars is the max. The only thing I will say is the pork broth tasted very sweet and first time I see a yellow coloured pork broth soup. Maybe Japanese ramen place have such colour, but this pork broth certainly has no savoury pork broth taste at all (not even half or diluted), but rather a very artificial sweetness taste and I totally dislike it.
