Gyu Jin Shabu Shabu and Sukiyaki - 9 Raffles Blvd

Enjoyed the Light Course shabu shabu. While the price may not be the cheapest as compared to others, meal was certainly value for money in my opinion. USA beef short plate had the right amount of marbling, Pork Loin is sliced so thin and made it so easy to eat. For soup base, highlights were the Suki Dashi and Tomato ones. Yuzu soup base is also interesting, but may not be for everyone. Also tried the kelp one, but can be skipped? Service could be better, but at this price point and quality, I wouldn’t complain too much. Place is also quiet and perfect for gatherings.

Have been frequenting the millenia branch for a few years pre and post covid. Service was always an issue but the budget friendly prices and quiet dining were pros and I was willing to overlook the poor service. However on my latest visit, my friend and I were literally told off in a condesending tone that any wastage would be charged. I have to highlight the tone in which the service crew used. Highly ill-mannered and we have yet to start on our meal. Just to clarify, we did managed to finish all plates ordered. Manager Louis was also serving guests in his home attire [tee shirt] and sneezing away loudly in the open kitchen area which was visible to guests. Louis cancelled my reservation twice , maybe so that I couldnt leave a review on the app. Well there is always google reviews. Also to note, prices are no longer budget friendly post-covid and service was non existent, my soup base was never topped up during my visit, and manager was in a rush to turn tables quickly. Thanks but no thanks, I will no longer subject myself to such dining experience. I dont understand the 5 stars reviews on google tbh.

Very resonable price Shabu Shabu Sukiyaki Buffet at this area. Meat is very fresh and Staffs very helpful to assist. Highly recommanded.

Ala carte buffet with quality meat and great variety of vegetables. Just need to spend a bit more time on staff explaining ordering method.

Contacted the restaurant over the phone and Louis was very helpful with the pricing information. Ingredients were fresh and the meat was top quality. You have a choice of 2 soup and it’s served in a personal pot! During the meal, our ordered were promptly sent to the table and the server was very efficient. We dropped our chopsticks on the floor and the gentleman immediately replaced it for us. Ryan was cheerful when we made payment and offered us ice cream before we leave. Will return again!

One of my favourite go to place for Wagyu Sukiyaki! Staff is friendly and responsive and meat is of decent quality. Forget the normal beef buffet and go for the premium version instead. While the premium buffet is slightly more expensive, it is worth it! Their A5 Japanaede Wagyu Chuck Roll is perfect. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Very nice restaurant to have dinner here. The meat here is very juicy tender and fresh so delicious. We also love the soup which has many choices. Recommend for ppl who like to go shabu shabu and sukiyaki.
