There's a wide variety of dishes on the menu. Tried the sashimi, tempura and grilled fish. Overall the food was good!! Would come back to try the unagi next time!

Food were at most average and mostly bad quality. Never seen a pork belly asparagus so pathetic. Chawamushi were lukewarm.

The staff were nice to let us in the restaurant as we arrived 10 minutes before opening. The menu is quite extensive and for what we had was about $55/pax. Oysters were plumb and sweet! I especially liked the Unagi maki and the Hamachi kama. Sad to say but the Yakitori were slightly overcooked and dry. Feedback was given just before we left. Staff were obliging but lack warmth. Will return for the whole Unagi next time.

Had my last dinner of 2020 here. Ordered the gyudon, unagi rice and a hybrid unagi chirashi rice. I think the beef for the gyudon was abit too chewy. Had trouble biting the meat. Like trying to tear a large cupboard into many pieces. Maybe can cut into smaller pieces for easy consumption. The unagi was good though and the chirashi combination pairs surprisingly well together. The qualm was the price is abit steep. All the rice set we ordered are about 40++ each. Overall i think it’s still a decent dining experience.

The yaki tori sticks are all quite tender and we tried the different chicken breast with yuzu pepper, mentaiko and chicken thigh. Also ordered another Tonkatsu Wazen set. All went well with beer and Dassai 23. Place is very quiet with a few customers only during this period, we enjoyed our evening here.

I'm honestly surprised by the poor review of this place. After looking through it, it seems that most of the one-star reviews were given many months ago. Anyway, out on the weekend as usual and this place was rather empty so we decided to try it out. I couldn't decide between having Chirashi or Unagi don but was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually have a combo bowl. I never liked unagi with sauce so I went with Unagi Shirayaki as usual. I was honestly surprised by how tasty it was! I actually think it's comparable to the likes of man man or uya. It was nicely grilled to give it a crisp skin while moist and flavourful on the inside. Coupled with the generous topping of ikura and chopped sashimi, the combo bowl is just simply satisfying. The kids were equally impressed by what they ordered and the mini Chirashi (topped with a generous amount of ikura as well) kept them happy with the constant thumbs up as they gobble down their food. I like that the place is quite empty and felt that the whole experience was rather exclusive and the stall style sitting made it even better. Contrary to the earlier reviews, I found the service to be prompt and friendly. This place has an extensive menu and I'm pretty sure you will be spoilt for choice. This place shall be in my list to visit if I'm back at Millennia Walk again.
