Food is pretty good. Premium meat is nice enough. A little pricey for the quality and portion given. Make sure to book a reservation. Service was alright. Ambiance is ok, not too smokey. Parking is easy to find but not cheap.

Ordered yakiniku bento, wagyu cross bento and beef tongue. It was my first time trying GyuKaku's food. The wagyu cross was my favourite, juicy and tender. The amount of food shown is enough for 2 adults. The staff were very helpful and obliging when I informed them I brought my own containers. I was impressed with how neatly the food was packed! I will be back when dining-in is allowed.

Went there twice and tried the premium beef set available there. Safe to say that the food served is delicious. However the service wasn’t the best for a restaurant you spend a lot on. Also decided to try the pork belly on the menu for a change the second round. Oh dear was it hard to the core and not chewy at all. Premium Wagyu (5/5 melts in your mouth) Ramen (3/5), Cold noodles (4/5) Pork belly (1/5)

Very good quality meat, although a bit pricey. Nevertheless, it was a good meal ??

Update. Am a little disappointed as the beef isn’t very fresh this time round. There were brown patches in some cuts of the meat. See the last a pic posted for the brown patches. Most of the beef are like that. Quite disappointed. Honestly, would give it a 2.5 to 3 star but think by giving 1 star will let the company have a wake up call. Update. 4.5 stars to be exact. The quality of beef... well... I did expect it to be slightly... fresher. Some of the beef given were... a little dry when they arrived. But most were still pretty decent. The staff who were attending to us were friendly and courteous. Ambience of the restaurant was cosy and classy too. Unlike most buffet places where their sauces and marinated meats are super salty.... as if trying to get the patrons to buy more drinks. The beef were generally of a good, if not above average quality. But considering the price you’re paying... it’s a pretty good deal. Smokeless charcoals were used and the suction of the stove were quite impressive. My clothes didn’t smell too badly of BBQ. Staff were quick to change the grills and topping up of the charcoals. So, don’t be afraid to ask for it. The lamb were well marinated too. The croquet were yummy. Now I know why it’s a lady’s fave. So far... 2 complains. 1. The garlic fried rice was soggy. Quite difficult to swallow. 2. The vanilla gelato had bits of powdery stuff in them... as if it was melted and refrozen again. quite a kill joy to end the meal like that.

No surprise that the meat was tender and buttery but the kimchi, miso soup and salad which came in a set were all really delicious too. Service was generally fine though we had to wait for a few minutes at the entrance with nobody around to attend to us. Bonus points for refilling my iced green tea without asking which is always a good sign for attentiveness. Price is more expensive than other bbq places but the qualify justifies the price. Definitely will return again ?

Very satisfied with the Japanese Wagyu buffet, the wagyu meat was tender and buttery. I love the prawns too as they were fresh and juicy. I would avoid the meat selection from the Australian wagyu as they rather bland in taste. The food cooks very fast so there was more than enough time to eat till my fill. The service was also fast as I ate here during non peak hour.

Very nice food. The wagyu beef is awesome, melts in your mouth. Price is on the high end side. I couldn't rate perfect as for a BBQ place, because there is no vents to suck the smoke then you can smell the BBQ cooking in the air and would probably get your clothes smelling like it.
