Yakiniku Like (PLQ Mall)

Her 4 Him 4 Total was $64. 2 sets and 1 wagyu karubi. Food 5/5 Ordered the following(see photo attached). I am not very sure what we had ordered but only remembered the wagyu. For an affordable price and quality I would say this is a must try as it was so good! The meat melts I your mouth! The other cuts were sold out when we went, only back on 19 May, perhaps will go back soon after the restock! The must go to sauce is the garlic soy which I used to pair for all my meats. Most of the meat were soft and tender, no particular chewy or dry meats. All were well marinated, with the marination not too overpowering so that we still can pair it with the sauces. Service and Safety The minus 1 comes from here. Let's start with safety. They don't clean the insides of the grill which cause lots of accumulation of carbon and oil. They only replace the grill. This cause the majority of our dining to have the fire blown up in our faces which we have to flinch back. There was once a fire was so big which caused a diner beside me to flinch as well. See photos. Therefore, if you have small children eating here, I recommend to not let them near the grill for safety purposes. Service was rough, did not expect much but when paying at counter, they did not use words but tapped at the NETS terminal to 'ask' us to pay, like calling an animal to perform a stunt. It was rude and caught us off guard. Overall, would be coming back for the food definitely. Quite rare to find places that sell affordable yet quality cuts. However, do not expect much for service at this outlet, just eat your meal and go!

Love this place. Quick, easy and value for money. I tried delivery before but didn't surprice me... So I think better to dine it. I choose karubi set 200g, a bit too much. 100g should be enough. The beef is marinated, tender and juicy. 幸せ?definitely will come again.

One of my new favourite outlet. Do note that u need to cook yourself by grilling the thin slices of beef meat or pork etc. The burning fats of the meat releases nice aroma. Price here is net inclusive and it does fill my stomach without burning a hole in my pocket.

The Karubi Set (Beef Short Plate set) Comes with Rice, a choice of Kimchi or mini Choegi salad, and soup. ? Food wise: It is a must come again level. The meat quality is really good, no question about it. It is chewy and succulent, just makes one drool thinking about it. The best part, there are many ways to play around. The doneness, the type of seasoning, the ways to eat and the type of sauces to go with it! Personally, the garlic soy sauce that comes by default is sufficient or rather, it is good enough, but I had fun playing and trying other sauces and seasoning. The rice, kimchi and the soup that came with it were delicious too! Quite good to even eat it without the meats. ✨ Ambience wise: Fun to have a personal bbq, there is no need to regard others on how you want to eat it, just have fun with it. But don't burn yourself! ?? Service wise: Always good and prompt service. Food came quickly as usual! ? The meat quality are very good but slightly too thin. With the price range, I think I couldn’t complain much; you can enjoy A5 wagyu with less than $20. I think you can’t find it at other place, unless in oversea. Super long queue, normally 1.5 to 2 hours wait.

Came on a Friday night and was able to get a seat within 20 minutes of waiting (just before peak hour). Ordered 3 sets of different meats. Set came with bowl of rice, soup, choice of drink and kimchi/lettuce (salad). 10/10 recommend as price was reasonable (no service charge), portion size was good, taste was delightful and would definitely come again!!

I haven't giving 5* for quite sometime already. This shop definitely worth it. The meat are fresh and if you cook it well, it sure melt in your mouth. Price wise is reasonable as 2 pax with so much meat including Wagu A4 200g only cost <$60 with drinks. The place disinfectant on every customer visit making sure this covid period we are safe is a plus. Safe distancing is well manage but somehow I and my friends are assign into 2 side by side table because of it. Definitely will come again.

Went 10 minutes after opening so got a seat immediately. Service was very good. Staff brought a bag box for me even though my bag was just a small cross body one. After confirming it was my first time there, she explained the best way to grill. Meat-wise - super good! Better than some high end yakiniku places I've been to. Some guys might find the lunch set portion small but can always choose to upgrade. For me, I'm glad that the portion is not overwhelming so I don't have to stuff myself. It felt just nice for lunch. Everything arrived very quickly. I think barely 2 minutes after I sent in the order. Great experience when dining here during off-peak!
