β β β β β I took one-on-one beginner level Mandarin class with tutors, Bettina and Jordan at Han Hai. Besides learning conversational words through pinyin, the classes piqued my interest in writing characters. The tutors took great interest in my learning by providing sufficient examples as well as background on the subject. I am thankful for them being very friendly and patient with my questions related to not just on course but also on general topics related to people, culture and traditions. Lastly, Grace was always gracious in accommodating my request for timing of classes. Look no further than Han Hai if you are planning to learn Mandarin. I will look forward to continue with classes when time permits.

β β β β β I have been with Han hai language school learning Chinese for slightly more than a year, and still joining the school. I really enjoy all the classes, the size of the class is just nice and most importantly I have a fun teacher, Bettina θεΈγShe is always more than happy to answer my questions even after the class.

β β β β β I did an intensive Chinese course at Han Hai this summer, covering approximately two semesters of university Chinese. They curated a personalized curriculum to meet my needs and was very flexible to work around my busy and changing schedule. My teacher, Ms. Verene Wang, was very adaptable and enthustiastic, and each class was highly engaging. I learned helpful techniques to memorize groups of Chinese characters, and by the end of the summer, I went from only being able to write the shortest of sentences to writing short essays and expressing myself orally with confidence. Thank you ηθεΈ and Han Hai!

She has incredible energy and there's never a dull moment as she patiently guides me and helps improve my Chinese. Thank you very much Verene, you're one of the best teachers of any subject I've had, not just Chinese.

β β β β β I'm a local student preparing for the Chinese O level exams and I have been attending 1 to 1 lessons with my teacher, Bettina, for the past 7+ months. I personally feel that I have improved tremendously and have definitely grown much more confident when speaking the language. Bettina is easygoing and has made lessons extremely enjoyable :)

β β β β β I did an HSK Level 6 online preparation course with my teacher, Ms Meng Yang. I really enjoyed my lessons with her as she was really friendly and patient. She taught me skills on how to answer the test questions and what are the areas to focus on. She also provided me with some tips that I can continue on my own so that I could score better for the test. All the lessons are interesting and insightful. They helped to bring back my confidence in my Chinese language ability.

β β β β β I did an intensive Chinese course with Han Hai over my summer break. My teacher, Mr. Jordan, was really friendly and patient during our classes. He took the time to understand what I needed to practice most and helped me focus on those areas. He also provided me with very useful tips to continue my studies and took the time to explain Chinese conventions and grammar beyond the syllabus.

β β β β β It was my best choice to join the Han Hai language studio. I am so grateful to Jordan, our teacher, for his knowledge and patience. I LOVE our lessons, cosy and friendly atmosphere. Only a few weeks ago, all I could say was a "ni hao" (with all the wrong tones) and today I can have a small conversation about my age, dates, profession. I really like the method, without a doubt it is very efficient. The Chinese language requires a lot of self discipline and home work, have no doubt the school gives us the maximum to reach a very good level of Chinese language. The nuances explained during the lessons I haven't seen in any other articles about the Chinese language.
