I have recently completed my German E1M1 beginner course with Mr Norbert. I have truly enjoyed myself throughout the module. Mr Norbert is very experienced and professional. He always encourages us to talk actively during the lesson and corrects our pronunciation patiently. I strongly recommend his teaching style to those who would like to study German from scratch!

Called up Inlingua Institute for part time language class. The operator asked us to visit after 1:30 pm to speak further about class. Upon arrival, the person at the reception mentioned that his colleague may have forgotten to ask us to take the online test. We couldn't speak with anyone without this. He dint even invite us in but told us that being the pandemic, they may not have enough students to accommodate a part time class for next 12 months. When asked why we weren't informed this on the phone., he dint have an answer. Not too happy with this approach. Better communication is expected..

Completed my Vietnamese language course on 10 Feb. Has been repeatedly asking for my certificate but they ignored me and today I finally gotten a reply with exclamations marks. I find it very rude and unprofessional.

Very pushy when asking people to sign up for classes. But not willing to give certificate of attendance as promise. Chase and ask more than 4 times , just compare the way they write when I ask nicely for my cert. I have attend and complete one module but now they pushing me to sign up for next module which cost $365 When I ask this was their reply. I have photos but can’t post Dear Cody, Yes, please be assured that my colleague Mr Cedric has been informed of the request and he will be in touch with you shortly! On this note, may I check if you will be available to have your catchup lesson tomorrow? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!

inlingua School of Language is one of the school that conducts Cantonese lesson. It's has been very interactive and enjoyable to learn Cantonese in inlingua. The instructor was very nice to offer 0.5hr make up class from 630-7pm for those who missed the first 2 classes. Classes are from 7-9pm which works for working adults to attend. Classroom is clean and tidy. There's also a fridge where you can store food for the period when you are having lesson. Common toilet shared on the floor with other tenants is clean and right behind the lift. It's walking distance from Somerset mrt. There are also a variety of food choices for those who wishes to grab a bite before or after lesson.

Friendly staff and teachers. As with all language schools, it’s good to talk to the staff for a bit before you decide to enrol with them, the staffs are very friendly and will try to answer all your queries. My personal experience with the teacher is a pleasant one but I’m not sure if the other teachers will be the same.

I generally have a good experience with them and the admin in charge of the classes I’m taking is very well mannered. The teachers I’ve encountered are very patient and approachable too. And I’m leaving 2 stars for these reasons. Why I’m not giving 5 stars is cos they refuse to issue my certificate unless I sign up with them for the next module and attend 80% of classes, and then they’ll give me both certificates I didn’t receive and the module I’ll be taking. There is an 80% attendance policy and whenever I’m absent, I’d email my admin to inform her about it in advance. Twice I had work commitments and once I had a colleague with Covid and my admin didn’t reply me on alternate arrangements (but I do understand it’s the weekend) till it’s well into the class and by then I just decided to not attend completely since I didn’t know what I was supposed to do. What left me with a very bad aftertaste is them basically pushing me to join the next module just to receive the certificate of the current one I’ve completed and passed (yes, I took the mandatory test). Obvious double standard here and hence I’d rather look for another school after this incident. Furthermore, I didn’t miss my classes for fun. Unless they want to answer to my employer on why their classes are more important than the job, I suggest they be more flexible in understanding that adult students have commitments outside of this too.
