Rude uncle and this is literally one of the worst fish soup ever in Singapore, there are better fish stores at the market too.

Best fish soup. Fish is tasty and big piece. Always drink finish all the soup and won't feel thirsty.

Good fish soup with really thick slices of fish. If you order fish porridge it's basically fish soup on top of rice. Just that put them together in a large bowl. $5.50 smallest with good amount of fish.

This store has a attitude issue. I gave $3 is coins and he told me to have it separated into separate pools of $1. What usually happens is the store owner will count it themselves and he was not polite when he asked me to have it done. The store has the self serviced cut chili which I help myself to. He told me to only take what I can eat and proceed to pour back what I have taken and told me not to be wasteful. 0/10 for attitude. The fish soup is more bland as compared to the shop down the same aisle. The fish slices are big like the other popular fish soup down the aisle. I normally eat from the other fish soup store but unfortunately it wasn’t open today. This would be the first and last time for me.

What the hell is this, the worst fish soup in SG. Maybe they are famous before, so the uncle have terrible attitude problem now. The soup smell fishy 臭腥味 and the prawn looks like picked up from dustbin. Whole of my family member not dare to eat this thing and we have to pour away as really smell fishy and disgusting . The uncle won't bother even you talk to him nicely. He not even allowed you to take cili and sauce more than he allowed . He treat the cili sauce like gold, very precious.

"A" Grade top notch fish soup with fish slices fresher, firmer and thicker than any other stall I've tried. Soup is "ceng" yet subtly flavorful which is a joy to drink. However, be prepared to wait >30min for your turn (see pic of queue, Tuesday night @7.30pm) and the front man-uncle is a chatterbox, a little grumpy and commandeering...but food is good!

My mum said the fish soup here is good. Take note that this is NOT the best among the 3 stalls here. The best one happens to be close. This stall is located at the far end (right side) of the food centre. We ordered the $6 slice fish soup with additional 1 bowl of rice at $0.50 While queuing and waiting, we saw quite a few people taking the soya bean paste sauce which I thought was quite unique. When it came to our turn, my daughter gamely took two small dishes of sauce; one had a topping of red chilli. I was about to take another small saucer dish for the soya sauce only and the uncle saw me and said this “Don’t take anymore! Two enough or I charge you. Why you take so much?” He said this in mandarin and in a scolding manner. I was stunned. I mean, I don’t take heaps of sauce. And so happens the people before me took 3-4 saucers but unfortunately he didn’t notice! Fair to me? He went back in to put the condiments on our order and he peeped back again to check if we defied his command. I mean, fine I was ok when he chided me but to check on us again? That’s kind of mean and insulting to customers isn’t it? After that, we walked away and while my daughter was carrying our tray, I saw him gesture the saucer places and “complain” to the customer behind me - I presume to be his regular. Rude! 2 stars ONLY because the fish slices are thicker then usual. Otherwise, this deserves 1 star solely due to the uncle’s attitude problem. Understand it is hard work but isn’t it better to be civil to each other? Patronize this stall only if you don’t have a choice!

The queue started before the stall in operation. They’ll start around 1pm. No stock for the red grouper so opted for Batang dish head soup. The soup is tasty and the fish is fresh. The chillis are normal. I have to mixed with bean paste sauce. $8 for the serving is consider above average although they are in the heartland hawker Center.
