Is good. Point for improvement: lesser meatball, more veggie and lower the price.

I have never been in touch with Hanoi cuisine in details but from the photos, it seems to offer authentic food. Saw a lot of Vietnamese patronizing. I tried the "Viet hotdog with shrimp paste". Other than hotdog, it had some kind of food that reminds me of haggis. The dipping sauce is a heavily fermented shrimp sauce which smell may turn people of. But if you manage to get past the smell part, the dipping sauce goes very well with the food. Worth a try if you are looking for something exotic.

New Hanoi cuisine around Bishan MRT, it's exactly at S-11. They sell not so common Vietnamese cuisine like Vietnamese porridge beside bun cha which more common. Price wise for porridge is pretty ex but why not give it a try. The porridge was okay, I love the taste of fresh dou miao mixed well with hot porridge, so crunchy and fresh. Pork intestine taste way better than the pork sausage. The chicken was bland and not kind of fresh fried chicken. Porridge set $28, chicken $7.

I liked the flavourful soup. Pho had a nice texture too. Beef slices were nothing to shout about though. Price point is the best part of this dish. Good value.

First time trying their Ban Cha. Wow! Unfortunately, it's not easy to get fresh vegetable unlike in Vietnam. Not their fault. But when I tried secondtime during dinner, it was not warm enough and a bit too sweet.

Came to try their 2 new menu: Fried fish dry noodle (Bun Cha ca chien) and Pork ball noodle soup (Bun Mang Moc). Really enjoyed the light and clean taste of the soup, which is distinctive of Northern cuisine style, since the owner is from Hanoi. The dry noodle with slices of fried fish and veggies, when mixed with a bit of prawn paste sauce, made this dish especially satisfying to eat, with some lards as topping as well. Love both of them! One auntie asked us what the dishes called and I realized the store didn't put names of new menu in English or Chinese, so perhaps it would help patrons if they can add English in the name of these dishes. Overall 9/10 for me, will definitely come back!
