The chicken by itself is tasty enough and with the right texture. Probably one of the best in the island. However, two important things are lacking: no ginger sauce and rice is bland. These two are most of the time the deal breaker in any chicken rice meal.

Forever a queue but they have many workers to ensure a smooth n quick process to buying your chicken rice. Located in Kim Sang Leng Bishan near Cpf building.

If you like cold hainanese chicken, this is the best! Meat is kept in cold water and despite that treatment, the meat is not too tough and just nice and tender. Rice is very fragrant and sometime I can even eat 2 plates of it. Staffs are very friendly too.

My all time favourite! Chicken is super tender. Sauce is nice and not overly salted. Rice is also very fragrant! Must order: chicken feet and taugey!!

Ordered the standard chicken rice for $4. This stall is known for its ice bath technique, which is supposed to preserve moisture in the chicken, and i liked it a lot the last time i ate here 2-3 years back. So it was disappointing that the chicken breast today was dry and quite ordinary. The chilli sauce fell short of expectations as well. The saving grace was the rice and soup, which was well seasoned and tasted good. Overall, i will recommend this stall only if the chicken quality improves.

Dec 2021 Long but fast queue. Normal plate is $3.80. Set A with beansprout is $5.80. They are not stingy with spring onions. The chicken has it, the beansprout has it. Chicken is smooth and tender. Quite thin meat, I guess they flatten the chicken to make it seems more. The soya sauce that drench the meat was sweet. The chili sauce came together with the dark soya sauce separately. Good and saves the trouble of taking another saucer. Soup tasted of chicken oil. Overall, a good plate but standard had dropped over the years (hence 4 stars for this time). The quality of rice was not good. Broken grains and a little marshy.

Pricey, delicious and tender poached chicken drizzled with fragrant soy sauce mixture. Crowd favourite in the neighborhood so expect a long queue during peak hours. Kim San Leng coffeeshop just underwent a renovation and has added more popular stalls. Seating is more limited due to Covid measures.

Healthy skinless chicken... From set A. Can only remember surprisingly favorful soup and fresh fat bean sprouts. Rice moist not oily. Taste quite flat, mixed with broken bits. Healthy? not my choice, maybe that's their default.
