Always willing to share her knowledge about information she knew as I have some family history with glaucoma and she was the one who first advise my dad for a more detailed check at the hospital, which help save his sight as it was an early detection. When in doubt on which pair suits you, you can always consult her opinion to look good and fashionable.

Believe me when I say heaven can wait cause Hazel will be sending you straight to heaven (while on Earth) with one of those fancy contraptions she uses to get your eyes checked. Hazel runs her own practice and as a consumer I can’t be more satisfied. She oozes with much charisma and passion when it comes to the care she delivers and the comprehensive checks she performs. An optometrist, a consultant heck even a doctor she embodies the traits of a superb allied health professional. A small shop tucked away in a quaint spot serviced by an optometrist with a big heart.

I came back recently to make a new pair of glasses as my old pair had undergone wear and tear. I expected a brief check of my eyes just like any other optical shop. To my surprise, she was careful and patient in checking each aspect; the degree of myopia, the degree of astigmatism as well as the angle of astigmatism. There are many frames and types of lens to choose from as well. It was also pleasant to listen to Hazel impart her knowledge in the specifics of the current condition of my eyes, and on the ways to prevent further damage to my eyes. I could not believe that I spent an hour in the shop! I highly recommend Hazel Eyecare because of her professionalism, patience and great service. :)

In contrast to my neighbourhood optical shops, Hazel explains why certain lens powers or spectacle frames feel good or bad, and conducts comprehensive eye checks before arriving at the fit and power of your spectacles. This means that my eyes have felt the most comfortable in the 30ish years that I've been wearing glasses. Very satisfied customer here!
