Was intrigued by the long queue and took the risk despite spotting an earlier 3* review. Looked pretty promising and they uses batang fish too. However I will agree with the first reviewer. Not fishey but defitelt not the freshest, and the fish were tasteless and not sweet. It seems like they messed up or did a bad job at the marination process. The soup is too blend for me. Tasted like the soup base they used in those old school steamboat before you throw in all the ingredients to make it savoury. Borderline tasteless. Will probably not try it again. Note: most ppl ordered their fried fish, which could be the better option.

It’s the only stall open now, the reviews suck and I needed to know why. Obviously my expectation was damn low but let’s give it a go. Well let me tell you that I enjoyed my meal very much. Whack finished the whole $6.50 mixed bowl with only pepper left on the edges. Decent portion. Decent smooth fish slices, non marinated as it should be, fried fish, flavorful minced meat chunks, good amount of veggie, tofu, fried egg and decent soup. Great that it’s not too salty so that if you want a little more savory you can add a drop of soya sauce. No msg after taste. No fishy smell. Not bad what. I’m not sure about their consistency but this meal was shiok to me.

Very little fish for 5 dollars fish soup. Fish is also fishy tasting... good thing- a lot of cabbage slices in the soup and also open at 3pm.

Came at around 3pm, not much stall are still open in this hawker at this timing already. Came across this stall which is still open and decided to give the fish soup you mian a try. Surprisingly, the fish soup you mian was quite nice, probably is because I didn't set much expectations in the first place. Soup was okay, but there are quite a lot of ingredients in there. There were minced pork, sliced fish, and even egg floss in it. Though the fish are thinly sliced, overall it's still quite a decent bowl of soup.
