Personally I don’t like the black version same as I do not liking the traditional kway teo using the dark sweet sauce.
As for the white version I had much better and outstanding flavour else where and less queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019 - One of the top carrot cake stalls in Singapore. Slight crispy on the outside and soft on the inside .... yummy.
I prefer the tea from other stalls however.
2021 - still as good as gold

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consistently good fried carrot cake. Owner take effort and time to cook the dish. There is no rushing just because the queue is long. At $3 for a large plate which can feed 2 people, this is an old school Hawker stall reminiscent of my childhood days in the 1970s.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more outstanding fried carrot cake stall around, fried till nicely charred with generous egg. Can either customise black, white or mixture of black and white. With or without chili. Good portion at fair price. Worth the queue.
