What a fantastic way to start the weekend!! Hardly comment on eating places but Hibiki sake and dine, wow. The worst izakaya I have ever been to. Please spend your money elsewhere. 1) Waiting Time: there were fewer than 6 tables with customers at that point yet my food took more than an hour to be completely served. Food arrived sporadically with intervals of at least 15 minutes. 2) Customer Service: It was invisible. Could hear staff making snide remarks about their co workers such as "You know how to clear plates or not." "Why are the 2 of you just standing there?" I must also comment on the meaningful conversations which I have had with the service crew. Requested for mayonnaise and we got a "this is the sauce for the oysters, you still want mayo ar??" Requested for the beef to be well done and we got a "you sure ar?? Well done will be very tough ar." 3) Quality of Food: Don't get me started on the taste and quality of the food. Food arrived cold. Beef cubes was completely undercooked hence I requested for the beef to be cooked well done. It was understandable since I didn't clarify how I would like my beef done. So the same dish returned to my table within minutes, smoking - literally. It was quite obvious that the dish was popped into the microwave - even the garnishing (shredded spring onion) was emitting smoke and the plate was warm. Service crew insisted that they didn't use a microwave - perhaps I may have not used the microwave well enough in my life (I think the kids beside my table were also bemused by the smoke emitting from my food). Thebsaving grace is that at least I know that the food is hot this time. The chef subsequently made a new dish for me out of goodwill, my dinner was already 80% ruined by then. Fried chicken (cold and bland), skewers (cold and tough but also probably the only food worth a muted shout-out), garlic fried rice, golden fried rice were lukewarm and ridiculously tasteless (mind you I am far from a picky eater but if you enjoy the taste of plain white rice smothered with oil and perhaps a pinky nail of garlic bits, you go rockstar). Not what folks will expect for the price I am paying. 4) Price: I paid over $170 for the meal with only 1 beer. Worth it? For the air conditioning, absolutely! What I consumed and the service I received was probably worth 1/3 of the amount I paid. 5) Testimonials from Past Customers: The table beside me overhead the conversations I have had with the service staff and unanimously acknowledged that the standards have dropped significantly. They were almost on the verge of cancelling a portion of their order too. 6) Conclusion: Not the kind experience I would wish on anyone. Heed my advice and spend your dollar elsewhere which appreciates your patronage. If the food quality was bad, I could have still accepted it should the service levels make up for it. Unfortunately, Hibiki Sake Bar and Dine is at the extreme ends of both sticks.

Cosy Japanese restaurant with not many seats available during covid-19. Serves delicious and quality Japanese cuisine. Thanks Manager Reuben to recommend us a very nice hot sake to pair with our food & we really like the dessert. Perhaps they should consider to serve the dishes one by one so that customer can enjoy it while it's still hot and tasty. Shall come back again definitely.

First time visiting and really loved the food! If you’re looking to drink (beer, wine, whiskey, sake) and have premium light bites only, this is the place to go. Absolutely enjoyed the Garyubai Junmai Ginjyo Mirokaa Nama Genshu (Shizuoka) sake. The prices are on the higher side so I’d recommend to take a look at the menu first before making a reservation. Level of service is really average considering the price point and can be much improved by taking reference from other authentic Japanese restaurants. Will be back try the other skewers available!

This is my first time ever writing a review and its definitely for a good reason. I have been working in Tokyo for 10 years and recently got posted to Singapore. The food here is the most authentic Izakaya Style food I've had in a minute. Their Skewer dishes and Fried Rice was especially good! They also have a wide selection of Japanese Sake, both Hot and Cold. I didn't count the exact numbers but I estimate it to be close to 50. Just like any other Japanese Restaurant, they have Whiskey, Gin, Shochu, Beer and Wine as well! I personally had the Kagamiyama Junmai Ginjyo Carafe during Happy Hour where drinks are 1 for 1! What a steal! Service on the other hand was extremely good too. Overall a wonderful experience and I will most definitely visit again.

High quality food and a lovely place to gather, lovely location with a green garden as a view. Even the outside seats are pleasant.

First and last time dining here. I found a fly in my beer pint and kindly shared with the staff about it only to be told that "Oh, it must have dropped in your drink mid-way while you were eating because these days there are lots of flies in our restaurant." Staff told me "I'm VERY sure it's not inside when the drink is being served to you." How can you be 100% sure because my beer was black (Asahi Black) and the fly was also black? So i asked her: "You're saying that when i was eating halfway and the fly just drop into my beer?" Surprisingly she replied "Ya, most likely." I asked her "So that's normal in your restaurant?" She replied "These days a lot of flies in here" Anyway, i paid for the item but sadly customer service is poor and they simply can't be bothered. I understand sometimes it's unintentional but honestly the way they dealt with it was completely unremorseful or apologetic. Will never be back and highly advise against visiting.

Tucked in a nice quiet corner in PLQ3. Food is good and with good options. Great place to chill for lunch with friends. Wagyu udon was delicious. My friends had yakitori set and unagyu set. Parking at PLQ is quite expensive though.

Just average food on the pricey side. Not worth making the trip unless you are nearby. Fried prawns were too salty and tiny. Karaage chicken was a bit tough. See how small the pork belly mushrooms were from the picture, and it was tough and try. The grilled rice cake is not bad.
