Back for the ala carte buffet. Food quality is good. Worth the $$ with the thick cuts sashimi by a generous Chef. Service staff are friendly and nice. Really enjoyed the dining experience

Came here the first time for a meal to celebrate Father’s Day after reading very good reviews of the place. Was greeted by a sashimi counter facing the entrance which showcased their fresh cuts in the display. Place looks cosy and boy the food didn’t disappoint. We didn’t take the buffet deal as most of us we were small eaters. 1. Salmon ikura charashi don - Thick cuts of fresh salmon that will give u a nice chunky texture every bite. Not forgetting the generous amount of Ikura that came with it, every mouthful of rice with ikura I took was like fireworks on my palate as the roe exploded with every munch. 2. Nigiri sushi sashimi set - If you are unsure of what to eat and want a bit of everything this is the set to order. It came with sushi, sashimi, tempura, chicken, jellyfish, seaweed, egg and the list goes on haha. Tempura was still crunchy even though I had that the last, unlike some places where it turns soggy halfway through the meal. Sushi was on point where the slice of sashimi was huge enough to envelope the sushi rice below it. 3. Grilled Hamachi Kama - This yellowtail collar came a bit later and it was worth the wait. I guess grilling this huge piece of fish with finesse and timing it to perfection without drying out the meat definitely showed here. Meat was moist and it’s not too salty to our liking which brought out the sweetness of the fish without overpowering it. Definitely will be back to try other food as our stomach has limited capacity.

A long waited visit to this restaurant. Surprisingly lunch is not that crowded. They serve both set menu (A, B and C) as well buffet and we opt for set with a la carte sashimi (Salmon belly, Tuna belly and yellow tail). They are very fresh and delicious, a must try for sashimi lovers!

I have googled upon this restaurant and i then recalled i have patronized this restaurant more than 11 years ago with my first gf for her birthday.At that time the sashimi quality was very very good and left me a good deep impression. Unfortunately i have forgotten about this restaurant Brought my current girlfriend on 27 th night dec 2021 buffet to celebrate her birthday. I made reservation first day of dec becoz in my memory its always packed and required to book way in advance. I told her i had the best sashimi i ever ate 10 over yrs ago .When i had it, the quality is still there, best that i ever ate in sg. I love the shabu shabu, the stock and quality of meat is awesome. The fried prawn is not oily at all but crystal crispy. Please respect that this restaurant need booking and unlikely to have vacant seats for walkins. Japanese manager was polite to inform us to order as soon as possible as it took a while for food to arrive. I find it very challenging for them to run the restaurant front with 3 staff including him. Will patronise the restarant again.

Do make reservations via their whatsapp number on googlemaps. Came for Friday evening dinner and was quite packed but service is prompt & quick. Buffet starts at 730pm and last order at 9pm... quite rushed.. hope it was extended slightly longer. Drinks not included in buffet package but top up for freeflow. Highly recommend to get the Shabu Shabu!!!! The broth is fantastic and flavourful. We had beef for that and was blown away by the quality of the meat, such good marbling! Meat is unlimited so feel free to order more. We also tried the Sukiyaki which was a tad toooo salty for our liking. Sashimi are fresh, do get more to enjoy! Grilled cod is wowwww so so well cooked highly recommend but the other grilled items such as beef & pork were a huge miss... skip please. Tempura also a big miss... the batter wasnt light & crispy like it shld have been, do skip this. Unagi hotplate is worth it so yummy. Do do do also order the corn / pumpkin croquette! All the croquettes were well made, crispy and not too oily. Chawamushi quite standard. Icecream dessert also average.

Having buffet lunch with wife at Himawari OCC Before heading here, researched and found they provide one of the best Japanese buffet in town. Made a reservation for weekday lunch buffet and headed over. One of my favorites are the cold soba noodles ( had 3 servings) , salmon sashimi, croquettes as well as the fried chicken wings (marinated and tasted pretty good). Took pictures of their set lunches as reference for next meal in future (or anyone else keen). Total damages: $129 for two. Overall, pretty good service too as the staff was helpful to clear the dishes and refill hot water for our green tea ??

I frequent this outlet for their view, high quality food and the staffs’ services. They served buffet but I prefer to order from their ala carte menu. The food is high quality and delicious. As the outdoor seating faces the golf driving range, the view is beautiful especially in the evening. Lastly, I would like to thank Kim and her team especially Rose for their impeccable service. Rose noticed and remembered my favourite dish even though I only been there a few times.

I was touched that she had noticed and remembered my favourite dish from the past few times I had visited the outlet! Definitely recommend the soft shelled crab for your first visit.
