โ โ โ โ โ Saba chazuke and grilled saba don are very good! I've been there during weekend lunchtime for the past month, I just wish they could put one more person helping the guy working there, he's doing everything by himself (cashier service, cooking, serving), he's amazing but I'm surprised he's the only one working there, the other shops have minimum 3 people.

โ โ โ โ โ Ordered meat lover rice (10.9). The dish looked unassuming at first, but in the end the portion is quite hearty (more than it appears) and ended up having satisfied meal. The meat and gravy tend to be on the saltier side though so I will mix them thoroughly with rice and some mayo before eating

โ โ โ โ โ Tried their signature chicken rice bowl with their special sauce that consists of a mixture of mayonnaise & pickles taste. The quality of rice is good. However, i felt that the shredded cabbage side dish could be better seasoned as i tasted vinegar in there and thought it didnโt go quite well.

โ โ โ โ โ Located at B1 of Jcube. It's part of DonDonki Japanese Supermarket. You can find affordable Japanese fast food here but they are more focused on dons. Service crew is friendly and attends to your request with a smile. You can request for extra portions of meat at a small price.
Their taste is similar to their Japanese outlets. Meat is juicy and tender, rice is Japanese rice. Their vegetable side dish is so flavorful and delicious. Due to Covid19, you can't head to Japan so this is the closest you can get to satisfy your cravings.

โ โ โ โ โ The staff service was really good as well as patient when I was deciding what to eat.
Furthermore, the karaage bento was really good together with the gyoza! The karaage as well as the gyoza was cooked well and it was not too dry. I would definitely come back to try other bento sets offered here!

โ โ โ โ โ My companion ordered the Katsu carry rice. In my opinion, the dish looked pre-prepared and microwaved and nothing like the picture. Which is to be expected, but for the price of $18.90, I would have expected either more food or higher quality. If you want a good bowl of curry rice you're better off eating at Monster Curry.

โ โ โ โ โ The Saba fish was really good and easy to eat as it was boneless. I really loved the taste of it when paired with the lemon. The takoyaki was pretty decent and the sauce was good.
Apart from that, the staff were really helpful and patient as well. Overall a great experience at Yayoi and would definitely come back again.
