★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am quite a mee rebus person and I know a good one when I have it. This stall has very tasty mee rebus. The gravy is substantially thick with a umami taste, which I suspect comes from the meat (mutton?) that they stew with. I will try the afandi stall next time and compare the 2. As of now, seems afandi is the more well known of the 2 stalls, very curious to find out why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big thumbs up for their Mee Siam. Have been looking for old school Mee Siam i.e. cooked with beans and fried krill and this is it! It has the right mix of tangy taste, not too sweet and of course the beans and fried krill. Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fair quality Malay dishes at fair prices. I have tried the Mee Rebus, Mee Siam and Mee Soto and have found them all to be fairly good. Definitely not the best, but it would definitely be satisfactory and good enough for most folks.
The sambal hitam is done well enough but can do with more heat in my opinion. Otherwise, pretty good overall. Cleanliness can be improved.
